| The walk-in rate for a standard room with double bed good for two persons WITHOUT breakfast is PHP 900, so don't pay more to reserve a room from the internet travel brokers. The hotel wants cash, not credit cards. Skip the breakfast option and eat somewhere else cause the food prepared at the Metro Park Hotel Cebu City is sub-standard. Otherwise, this is a suitable hotel off the beaten path for budget travelers who can withstand some minor discomforts with the room quality and service. |

| TV remote never worked and the TV had poor picture quality. The refrigerator smelled like a rat had died inside and been left to bake while the unit was unplugged between guests. Window curtain was filthy and appeared to have dried blood. Mosquitoes everywhere in the room and staff ignored multiple requests to spray for mosquitoes. Left the hotel two mornings and asked staff at reception to make up the room then I returned later that evening to find the room still unchanged. One day they didn't even change the sheets, but merely tucked the same sheets and made up the bed without changing. Hotel has a policy to charge for extra towels if you somehow wish to take two showers a day, which is necessary due to hot weather. The sheets look like they are original to the hotel, having never been replaced. Bring your own sheets if you want any comfort in keeping the bed lice off you at night. There are much cleaner hotels than this one, though low price is its advantage over nicer hotels. |

| the Metro Park Hotel Cebu City is located in the good part of cebu, uptown. the staff are very friendly and helpful. the hotel is conveniently located near major shopping centres, restaurants, and other amenities. room amenities such as television and bar fridge work well and the hotel restaurant provides good food and great service at a reasonable price.
i would stay at this hotel again, particularly when taking advantage of 'last minute' booking rates |

| The hotel is really NOT KNOWN by the airport taxi cab drivers. The lobby and main facade is not inviting and prersentable enough to entice guests to stay. Corridors of each floor smells like "nictoine", especially in the room that my wife and I stayed in. We were surprised since we specifically chose for a NO SMOKING ROOM!!! Food has more room for improvement. |

| excellent hotel for the price and the service was far better than you would receive in a 4 star hotel.
the only negative comment that i have is that the bathroom /toilet needs maintanence as the toilet leaked and the taps would not turn off properley in the bathroom. otherwise a good hotel |

| Very good value for money. Do not be put off by the location. Good breakfast. Close to jeeps and taxis. Only a few minutes from the City Centre. |
