Great to have in house movies, and loved the restaurant downstairs, excellent food.

Have stayed there many times - mainly for the location. Easy walk into Queen Street Mall. Facilities are average but Metro Tower Mill is still one of the more reasonable priced hotels in Brisbane (with balcony)as this city seems to go bonkers with hotel prices.

Cleanliness would have been very good had it not been for the 'gunge' hanging down the drain in the basin, and thick dust and dirt in the bathroom floor drain. Apart from that, very clean. Great location, walk down into town easily - steep hill/steps home though! Wonderful little coffee shop next door, great food and coffees (hotel restaurant coffee wasn't impressive, so we didn't eat there). I would go back to this hotel.

As we were there for a very short period of time, we can only say that we were pleased with the stay.

Good value for money. I recommend this hotel to any one who is on a budget but does not want to go to a backpackers. Not only this, the location is perfect.

Friemdly hotel. Lots of help from the reception when I mislaid my mobile phone. Good location, close to the city centre. Good value hotel

Metro Tower Mill Hotel was very clean and the service really good. However the rooms were small and the air conditioning not very effective (it made the room quite humid during the night). There are no plates or cutlery in the room so it was difficult to eat your own meals. The hotel is really close to the city as long as you don't mind the hill climb back!

Reasonably priced hotel with good sized clean rooms and in close proximity to the centre of Brisbane. The reception area is small but adequate. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small restaurant in which breakfast is served and I believe food can be obtained there at other times, although by the time we arrived (around 9pm) it was closed (as were quite a few of the downtown restaurants). Our overall impression was good.

We read an earlier review which thought this hotel was a bit run down. That's not at all what we found. Seems that it has been recently renovated and refurbished. Excellent in all respects. It was quiet on the Saturday night we stayed, and there was secure parking in the basement. The hotel is opposite a park and some people might find the 10 min walk down hill to the city centre, a bit inconvenient. The ground level cafe/restaurant is clean, modern and serves good food at a reasonable price.

The hotel is in a nice setting with gardens across the road. It is fairly close to Central station, the river, the mall and we were able to walk almost everywhere from here. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. At the hotel they have a restaurant which comes in handy as well as internet in the foyer and free wireless internet in your rooms. Highly reccommend the Metro Hotel.

To those that didn't know (like me) the restaraunt has moved from the beautiful top floor (HAD fantastic views of the city) to the ground floor/street level. now has pokies too :-(. The rooms are small but clean, if you are a larger sized person you fit in the new showers and strangely the taps are outside (beside) the shower itself? But still had a lovely stay there.

Good bar and restaurant, clean rooms with a nice small balcony to sit outside. Bit of a walk up hill to get there, but not too bad. Shower a bit feeble.

a nice, clean hotel. it was within walking distance from the hospitals. just in to make sure you get in quick for a car park as they are limited.

The Buffet Breakfast was excellent, but could be changed occasionally. Having the same each day is a turn off. The Restaurant food quality was ok, but the portion size was inadequate. The cost was acceptable.

Not what I expected from a hotel of this price range compared to others of a lesser price in which I have stayed. Room was small, no dresser draws, disterbing outside noise penatration. No real meal service order at the bar and servery pick up for both breakfast lunch and dinner Overall maybe 2 out of 5

Excellent hotel, within 10 minutes steep walking of Central and Roma Street Stations and 15-20 minutes to city centre and river. With Spring Hill loop bus outside, busway at Roma Street and street buses within 5 minutes. Restaurants at hotel and a couple more within 5 minutes but better in the city centre. Rooms small but clean, functional with balcony and well insulated from street noise. Roma Street Parkland very close. Taxis to airport about 30A$.

Centrally located and well priced. The public hotel facility linked with the hotel itself is very handy for dropping in for a drink or a quick meal.
