We were a little concerned because of some of the reviews we had seen, but the hotel is right opposite the Capitol Theatre where we were going. We had one of the un-refurbished rooms but it was still quite comfortable. There were 2 queen beds, one was a bit worn and soft but the other was suitable. There was no traffic noise. Bathroom was a little tired but OK. We would stay again if the price is right. Breakfast probably best avoided.

Great price for the location. The only negative for us was that the Swimming pool got no afternoon sun as the neighbouring buildings block it and the spa pool was out of action.

No airconditioning control in the room. I was informed by the reception staff that the only options were to turn it on or off with the room key card. I found it to be too cold on and too warm off.

hotel had recently been upgraded to a very good standard , close to transport , shopping , tourist attractions , and dining . very happy , would stay again

Great location with easy access to Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Pitt St Mall and Theatres. I stayed in a "Superior Room' and it was fine. Only complaint is that breakfast (which was included) each morning was OK but was exactly the same each morning...no variety. Would stay there again simply for the location.

Although I informed the reception and the house keeping three times, the desk lamp hadn't been fixed for two whole days. The most efficient department was the maintenanc. They fixed the problem within 10 minutes after my last call.

Bed was a rock hard, location suited our needs very close to central station, staff were very courtiuos and checking and and out was a dream. Bathroom could do with an exaust fan. We will be back

This hotel is in a very good location for the city center. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the price represented good value for money. This hotel provides a traditional room without the more extensive kitchen facilities found in some hotels.

Great location, friendly and helful staff, very clean affordable rooms. The only negative point is the rooms did not have overhead lights, only bedlamps and it was very dark but overall a great place
