Staying at the MespilClose enough to the centre of Dublin to walk - about 15 to 20 minutes. Great value for money.

The Dublin Mespil, while not central to the Dublin Dart, is within a 10 minute wal which gets you to all the locations you will want to visit while in Dublin. The hotel offers a very good restaurant and pub, and the breakfast buffet is well worth the investment. The hotel is clean and efficient - although I do wish it has some sort of gym facility. The hotel staff could not be nicer. Since the Mespil is in a business district, there are a number of dining options near by - pubs, Italian, sit-down, take away, etc. Located right on the Grand Canal, the Mespil offers a good spot to relax and visit Dublin without all of the noise and congestion of being in the center of action.

The hotel is situated in a quiet, safe area with a 20 minute walk to the start of tourist facilities. The hotel dining was comprehensive and good, but dining opportunities in the surrownding area were limited.

Long weekendLovely hotel, good, quiet, though central, location. Very friendly staff with a fine but not too expensive menu. Will certainly retrun for another visit.

Have to get there early to guarantee a car space. Taxi rank just outside the door which is great

Hotel conveniently located with a dedecated taxi rank outside. staff very helpfull and could not do enough for you. We stayed valentines night and they had a flower for my girlfriend, which was a small but very nice touch which added to the overall experience.

A good value, comfortable hotel in an excellent location close to the city centre. Would certainly stay here again.

The biggest complaint i have is getting to the hotel. As the traffic flow has been change on St Stephens green its next to impossible to find this hotel. The staff didn't even know how to direct me. I would just advise that the hotel invest in signage. The other thing was the food portion - very poor. We were starving by the time we arrived (as we had spent so much time trying to find the hotel) & were looking forward to a nice meal only to order & be handed very small portions for the price we paid. Staff very friendly rooms basic.

Rooms were lovely for a 3 star. and the Maids were wonderful changing towels daily. This website lies a bit when it comes to location as I wouldnt say the Mespil is in the City Centre, so I advise people to bring money for cabs! All in all a pleasant stay and can't complain.

Stayed in this hotel as I was running the Dublin Marathon. Can't help but praise it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating with special requests like certain foods etc. Plus the location near the finishing line was perfect.

Great location, 10 minutes from city cenre but a good selection of pubs and restaurants beside the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff at reception Room was excellent and lovely view over the city. would stay again and would recommend to a friend.

I found the staff to very helpful and welcoming. You could perhaps do with a little more parking space for residents. all in all I had an enjoyable stay and would certainly reccomend the hotel and would like to return

I had a barlunch, but the fish was soggy and cold. The staff seemed over whelmed by the customers. The Bistro had lovely lunches. good value for money. Roomservice breakfast was dissapointing.
