The breakfast room is in the basement of the hotel. This is a very nice vaulted cellar, furnished to an excellent standard.

Great location near the Metro. You could even hear the trains rumbling away underneath. First room was very tiny and lights did not work. Moved to better room upstairs the next day. It would have been perfect if people in the next room did not speak loudly until 2 am and their smoke did not drift into our room. Reception staff not very helpful. Kitchen staff lovely though. Can't compare to other Paris hotels but is not too bad despite the reception staff.

Long Weekend in Paris for Art ExhibitionsGood location - 15 minute walk to Centre Pompidou / Les Halles area. Very clean bathroom and room - and good warm showers.

Nice small hotel, excellent location, just a few steps from Place de la Republique where you can find many restaurants, subway station. Located in a quite street. Friendly staff, speaking English without problem. Value for money you spent.

Great for a city breakComfortable, clean, friendly and within good reach of the sights and the station.

Always clean and comfortable. Staff speak English and are willing to help. Breakfast is adequate. Good location with easy access to places of interest due to metro being a few steps away. Plenty of places to eat and a convenient Monoprix around the corner. I visit Paris regularly and tried to save money by trying a different hotel recently - big mistake - I'll be back to the Meslay next time!

- in a very convenient location near the Place Republique and metro but quite noisy- not as good as it looked in the pictures !- very small bedroom and dreary decor but clean and fairly new bathroom

Clean, and relatively centrally located, however a bit basic for a 3-star hotel. Reasonable value for money, although not the most memorable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.
