A well equipt and modern apartment, home from home. Thank you I enjoyed my stay

Cardiff mini breakApartments were great - location was very central so we walked everywhere, and the apartments themselves seemed brand new and were decorated in a tasteful modern style and clean throughout. Only downsides were they did get quite warm (and no air con), and our apartment overlooked the railway which was a little noisy when the windows were open. However overall very good and would definitely stay again.

Nice apartment, eventuallyFirst apartment we were given had a broken balcony door (couldn't get out) and no instructions for anything. On the first phonecall (no staff onsite) nothing could be done, so we were expected to survive for two days in 30 degree temperatures with no working doors/windows and no air conditioning.By the third phonecall (and a threat to leave), we had the manager arrive, and a choice of new apartments. Very efficient manager! Apartment 51 was well laid-out (with a working balcony door). No noise from the building, but situated right above the railway lines (goods and passengers) into Cardiff Central, so lots of train noise. Good equipment in the kitchen, and a comfortable flat, although already looking a bit scuffed around the edges.Would consider staying there again, but only if we had flat 51

lovely apartment, shame about the customer servicestayed here as we were going to a gig in Cardiff.I've prevously booked apartments via Laterooms and they've been great. The kitchen hadnt been cleaned properly and we had no hot water for the second 24 hours.Rang the help numberand they told me to press a few switches etc but they couldnt get anyone to come out and sort it.When it got dark we also found the lights in the living area didnt work. Have complained and been offered 20% off if we want to go back .As we paid £95 a night feel that's not good enough so am waiting for the address from them to make a formal complaint. It's a shame as it's a lovely apartment, just needs managing properly as it seems a very amateur set up.Poor state of the apartment coupled with building works surrounding the area really spoiled our weekend.

The Meridian ApartmentsBeautifully and tastefully decorated, brand new apartments in the heart of Cardiff. Only a couple of minutes walk into the city centre. The apartment had all mod cons including a washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer and microwave. It is attached to the Radisson Hotel, which you can use if you like. The only downfall is you can't get a drink after 12pm in the Radisson unless you have a room there.

2 Nights in The Meridian ApartmentsOverall the apartment was well equipped and modern. Situated in a great location for the Millenium Stadium, castle and shops. The room rate was increased because Take That were in concert and only 2 nights could be booked. The kitchen fittings were very good quality but there was no instructions on how to use them. Lots of building work going on so quite noisy (will be fine once everything is finished).Main gripe: Dirty dishes from previous tenants, food in the cupboards from previous tenants, although these are serviced apartments the servicing didn't fall on our stay so we had no clean towls for our 2nd day. I would stay here again but not for the price charged.

Excellent, convenient apartmentsJust back from staying at these apartments, and they are excellent.Only 5/10 minutes walk from the train station, and on a street that is not so busy that you would notice any noise(apartments are on the 6th and 7th floors). The apartments are also just a short walk away (5 mins or so) from the Millenium Stadium and the shopping area of Cardiff. The apartments themselves are very clean, and come with all mod cons. Full kitchen with a nice living room(its open plan) and a large digital TV with Freeview. The bedroom is spacious enough, with a really comfortable double bed and large closet. The bathroom is very nice, with a cracking shower. We only were staying for 2 nights so didn't need them, but the apartment has all the equipment you would need for a longer stay - washing machine, iron, dishwasher, oven, large fridge freezer - so I would recommend it both for short and long term stays. We will definitely be staying again, as they were value for money on the nights we stayed(which were more expensive dues to the Oasis concert), so at the normal rate they are a snip.Highly recommended.

good for weekend breakPlus Points-The apartments were very central for the city centre which could be walked to in a couple of minsModern and clean and all basic equipment providedDownside- very close to railway line so there is some train noise (although they do appear to stop at night)Very warm in the apartment only one window in bedroom that slightly opened- no handle on the patio door so could not opened (removed on purpose?) so could not get any fresh air in living/kitchen area and no extracted fan in bathroom so steam from there made it even warmerNo on site parking- ncp multistorey close by £15 per 24hrs and open air carpark next door £5 per 24hrs so could add up if staying a few days

Location Location LocationThe accomodation was just perfect for us, it is located in such a central area directly beside cardiff central station and we didn't find any disturbance with the trains. It was a plus as we had flown from Dublin to Bristol and then had to get a train up to Cardiff so after all the stress of getting there when we finally pulled into Cardiff Central Station we could spot the apt straight away. The staff their had everthing sorted for us with regards our keys etc as we landed outside of reception duties and plus the security guard was very helpful when we arrived.I would definatley recommend this to anyone who's plans to visit Cardiff, it really is a bustling city and will definatley be making a trip back again and will definately be booking the Meridian Apts

Meridian apartmentsExcellent position for the shops and station in Cardiff. Although we arrived after the reception had closed, the instructions for access to keys and the apartment, were accurate and everything ran very smoothly. Top marks for the facilities in the apartment although I couldn't find a hairdryer. One minor irritation was that the bedding seemed a little small, a double duvet on a king size bed. Apart from this I would say the accommodation was excellent. Would stay again.

Beautiful ApartmentI had a beautiful one bedroomed apartment, let down somewhat by the lack of attention to detail in the cleaning.Otherwise, the rooms are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Even though I felt let down by finding mouldy cheese and cheesy milk in the fridge, and mouldy bread in the cupboard; I feel this was a one-off oversight and would gladly stay there again.

Very niceApartment was very clean and tidy, more spacious than some I have stayed in, particularly those in London for example. I liked the location; 5 minutes walk to the centre of town for shops bars and restuarants. Digital TV and Wireless Internet all worked a treat. Checking in and out was easy thanks to the emailed instructions. The only down side was the car parking/location desciption in the email; I had to drive around the block 3 times before nailing it, I think maybe a clearer description of where the NCP car parks are would have helped for those arriving by car. Also, the location was described as \"opposite\" and \"next to\" two landmarks that themselves had no outside labelling, so they were no help at all. Apart from that small niggle, I was very impressed.

Cardiff holidayThe first apartment we had there were problems with hot water and lights not working. Once moved the 2nd apartment was much better.

Nice apartment when finishedThe air conditioning didn't work so we had to open the window (which was good because the window would not close anyway but bad because the trains on the track three hundred yards away had to brake every three minutes to stop in time for the station), the fridge did not work (and the shelf was broken) and the hot water only worked after the concierge fiddled with the fuse box and we waited for an hour for the water to heat up. Anybody less chilled than us would have demanded a rebate if not their money back.

Meredian Terrace Apartment - Quality and Good LocationVery nice apartment, thoroughly enjoyed the stay.Apartment was clean, well furnished and had everything required for the stay.

Lovely apartmentI had a lovely one bedroomed apartment, fully furnished, complete with a kitchen and all you need. It was very clean and tidy (immaculate even) and all for under 80 quid. They had no customer service at the location, just a guard there to open the door, but in truth it didn't matter. I didn't need anything anyway. I would definately stay there again.

Quiet, clean and close to the city centreThe apartment is completely new. The room was better than in some 5 start hotels. The price was also affordable. Above all, the apartment is 10 -15 minutes walk from the city centre and 5 min. from the City Centre Library. You will not regret it.

not worth it80 for the room, but watch out for parking costs, a ncp nearby at £15 per night. Room as very dusty, hadn't been cleaned. Very new, packaging was still in fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Ok, but there are better cleaner places

Best location and perfect accomodationIts all good, I do not have nay bad comments about this accomodation. Excellent central location and is genuinely 5 mins walk form city center. The accomodation was extremly comformatbe with all mod cons. Everything was spotlessly clean. I cannot fault this one.

Great Locaton and AccommodationWe booked two one bedroom apartments in this complex in March, location was fantastic, city centre ! The apartments are brand new and very modern, reception staff were excellent and also we were able to get information from reservations before we arrived, they gave us two apartments beside each other to makes things easier, all in all they were very helpful and would definitely recommend these apartments.
