The Mercure Grenelle - Great LocationThere was a mix up with our booking which meant that arrival we were told that the Mercure had no room for us for the first night of our stay and that we could stay in the Ramada hotel just 5 mins down the road. We are fairly easy going so said this was fine but would point out that the Ramada is not the same quality, room very small, room smelled of smoke and quite scruffy. We did however get a fab view of the Eiffel Tower on that night from the Ramada room so it wasn't all bad. Can't say enough about the Mercure though, great location, good price, excellent breakfast, very pleasant staff.

The hotel was excellent, but the car service you suggested was very late. I had to take a cab to get to the airport on time. Now there are issues with the refund.

The hotel looked nice enough from the outside and even inside the lobby. The decor upstairs was outdated. That was all okay, except you could literally feel the floor move. I'm not sure if it was the metro that was making the floor move, but it made me feel seasick. Even though it was relatively clean, and the staff was very helpful, I wouldn't stay there again.

Paris weekendHad a very enjoyable stay. Hotel was right across the road from Dupleix Metro station so easy to get to. Had to turn right and walk down to the next station though to get into the centre of Paris. View of the Eiffel tower from bedroom window. Walking distance to it was about 20-25 minutes. Lots of very reasonably priced restaurants on the same street, very good food. Didnt feel like we were ripped off anywhere. Staff spoke great english and were very helpful with maps and tour guide leaflets.

overall it was okayThe hotel was clean and tidy, with a conveient location.The only downside to this hotel is that it only has one relatively small lift which at busy times can mean either a longer wait on a trip up/down the stairs with your bag.

130 Euros for the 1 night in a standard double including breakfast - That was real good value. Absolutely nothing wrong with the entire experience from the welcome to the checkout - AT THAT PRICE. At the rack rates, the room would be too expensive.Great bed, reasonable room size for Paris - clean and fresh - Very quick WiFi @ 9Euros per 24 hrs. Dupleix metro opposite the hotel - excellent for transport links, and a great breakfast buffet. In summary - If you are looking for a value for money business hotel no need to search too far - this is it @ 100 - 130 Euros per nite.

hotel is right next to dupleix metro, tho there is no noise from it. only a 5 min stroll from the eifel tower. reception staff were very helpful. and if you are there over a weekend there is a fantastic market right outside hotel on a sunday.

Hotel was very easy to find, since it was directly opposite the dupleix metro stop, quality of the food at breakfast was excellent, loved their creamy scrambled eggs, and their options of coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. Loved the sauna too.

Good location - right by Metro. Local restaurants expensive. Breakfast in bed until 12 noon, lovely!Friendly, good room (small-ish) and clean. Good area, but a bit quiet at night.Recommend for a good quality hotel in Paris. Gym equipment limited (and main machine broken so running & cycling only!)

The receptiopn staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side, but clean and well maintained.The breakfast was good, but was not worth 19EUR.The hotel was located right outside a metro station, which was very handy for getting around Paris.

The hotel location was excellent. Very central. We had a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is right next to the Metro but we did not find noise a problem at all. Staff very friendly. Good choice of breakfast. Would go back there.

Booked a double non smoking room and got a twin smoking room! Not quite the best of starts for a romantic weekend in Paris!!! Parking was a little steep at 19 euros a night, a pint of lager at the bar was 7 euros. Room was very basic, no tea making facilities and the decor was a little dark & dingy On the up side the hotel was easy to find and very well located for the Eiffel Tower and a metro stop only a few yards from the hotel. Hotel generally clean and well maintained.More of a good 3* hotel than the 4* that it's rated as and for that reason, a little over priced

the hotel was right off the metro very handy for getting about. we had asked for a non-smoking room but when we got there asked if there was anything with a view of the tower we were told they were all smoking rooms but that we could have one if we wanted. We decided to chance it and were glad to have done so as the room was smoke smell free and we had a view of the tower. the staff were very friendly in all aspects. Found it very useful that we could leave our luggage all day at no charge as we travelled out in the evening, much handier than leaving it at left luggage!! All in all a handy clean hotel with a good breakfast to boot would stay again.

We had a room at the back of the hotel (not with a view of the tower). Not the biggest room that we've ever had but it was clean and quiet. Great location about 10 mins from the tower. Breakfast was fine. Would stay there again.
