The historic Mercure Bloomsbury building was constructed in 1907 by the Cranston family, relatives of Sir Walter Scott, and later became a hotel named after one of his books, Waverley, published in 1814. And now has re-opened as a 4 boutique hotel after an extensive multi-million pound complete refurbishment! Each bedroom has been designed to allow guests to relax, with natural materials and warm tones used in the decor.
