Nice hotel;but the public area-bar etc-needs to be extented,as the rooms are relatively scarcely furnished (ONE chair only; Main complaint:except for CNN, ALL tv programs were in German with all movies dopped. This is a scandal for an international hotel.I have travelled all over the world the last 30 years and I only remember Zambia in the mid seventies with such a scarce tv selection. Finally, as a European, you must have access to BBC World as well. Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay:Vienna is still the most beautiful city.(I was last there in 1964). Kind regards. Henrik Osterby

The air conditiong system did not work: 24 degrees Celsius at night is just too hot for February. We asked for assistance and got transferred to another room which turned out to be only a little colder but situated between two elevators, hence no sleep at night, at least not refreshing. Ther were also little children shouting in the hallway and slamming doors in the early morning.

We really liked the hotel, though we thought the price for breakfast was too high. But since it is a really good hotel with spacious rooms and next to a metro station, a few steps from the nearest cafe, we did not mind the inconvenience of not having breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the above mentioned cafe. We recommend it fulheartedly

Our overall impression from our stay in M.J.W. are true to what we expected from the net information. The location is excellent and the management ready to help. Ratio quality/price, rather correct. A few remarks that may help improve certain shortcomings: - Junior personel, willing but inexperienced and inadequate. - No way of knowing if bathrooms in other rooms are the same. In ours - Shower glass partition on the tub was impossible to fix in place, so water kept constantly running out. - Floor inclination is such that water run out on the corridor. I had to mop every time I took a shower. - Water would not stop running in the bowl, after flushing. - Plug above mirror did not work. Conclusion: Bathroom = disaster. Additionally, several plugs in room did not work. Economy bulbs are fine, but you cannot possibly read in their light.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were very grumpy and unfriendly.

in the center of vienna but still very quiet. Only some minutes to walk to the Stephansdom. Very nice hotel especially for the price offered.

This place was in an excellent location. It was a bit pricy, but worth the money. Really comfortable beds and pillows with a good bathroom although the breakfast was quite expensive. I would definitely stay here again.
