The Mercure on Spring is like any other Mercure across the country. No surprises, it lives up to the standard you would expect. As a matter of fact you wake up and don't know which city you're in.

HotelClub booking did not seem to be logged on reception computer but a suitable room provided. Hotel well located with a nice view of Treasury Gardens. Free City Circle tram stop just around the corner. Centre of the CDB only a 10 minute walk. Functional room but very clean and good service. Hair dryer cut out on overload. Lime cafe meals good quality but a little overpriced.

Small room for the price. Great location tho, close to the sporting venue's. I wouldnt reccommend paying the $25 per head for breakfast at the downstairs restaurant. Found it very disapointing

We stayed for a total of 6 days in the hotel. There is a need for the hotel to upgrade its room facilities - the carpet is quite old, some of the bathroom tiles are broken, etc. Overall, I give the hotel an average rating.

A couple of things: 1. The lifts were extremely slow (especially in peak times) and we had to wait for some time to get one that wasn't full. 2. There was no lift foyer on the floors - the lifts were literally next to rooms and you had to stand in front of someones room door while you waited for a lift. Very odd.

Room was quite small, bathroom was small and had shower in bath and some mould around tiles and no bathroom fan. Otherwise it had what most motels have for comfort. The room service was good. The buffet breakfast was real good.
