Excellent location in Ginza. Tastefully designed rooms and efficient staff. High speed internet in rooms but why do they charge 500yen for it? That's just irritating.

We really did like our staying at Mercure Hotel Ginza Tokyo. The room was small but convenient and the location was superb. The staff was very serviceminded and did evertything for us when asking. We recommend the hotel and will sure come back.

We were warmly welcomed by staff who spoke English well. The service was fine and rooms not large but smart. attractive and comfortable. Good value for money considering the proximity to the center of Ginza.

This was lovely hotel in a great location. The room was a little small, but this is typical of Japan and considering it's location in the heart of Ginza it was actually bigger that I was expecting. The decor was very nice too, and the staff all spoke excellent english and were very helpful.

Clean, large rooms. Efficient, friendly staff. Great location and value. Totally enjoyable...

Small rooms, friendly service, good air conditioning, excellent breakfast buffet, albeit eggs on order would be a nice touch as the scrambled eggs lower the standard of this otherwise good and fresh food. Location fine, right above the metro station. Easy to find when you know where it is as the block is rather anonymous from the outside and it is not exactly well advertised : you have to look for it to find it.

A decent hotel with very small rooms. The location in the middle of Ginza is very nice IF you have to stay in Ginza, but I would recommend staying elsewhere in Tokyo such as Shinjuku or Shibuya if you are there for to experience a little bit of the lively nightlife. Location in Ginza is good: Within walking distance of the main subway lines (one is in the basement of the hotel). Staff was nice, but not the friendliest I experienced while in Japan. If you do not need a breakfast buffet you can easily find local breakfast restaurants, sandwich bars and a 24h McDonalds two minutes from the hotel.

Very central location in Ginza, 3 min. from the main shopping street and 15 min.walk to the fish market. Rooms are a bit small but very functional and clean. Wi-fi available in the rooms, charged at a decent rate. Excellent service.

Staff very helpful and speak good english, location is great, as next to a subway station, walking distance to some of the major sites, only about $11.00 for a taxi from JR main Tokyo station, plenty of places to eat and MacDonalds is next door for the kids, all the designer shops are in the Ginza are, would highly recommend and would stay again

Service level is very nice. Hotel employees are very proactive to help with information on tourist attractions and transport options. Room size is OK for 2 people and it's very well maintained. The location is excellent. Sony building, Fish Market and Several Malls, restaurants and convenience stores are at walking distance. For all other places one can take the subway (5 minutes away from hotel).

Nice hotel - located just off the Ginza - so fairly quiet, breakfast was very nice in the bistro attached there. the entrance from the street is very understated and when you first arrive you don't think you have arrived at an actual hotel, lacks the usual hotel entrance features, but once inside and in reception its ok, the room was excellent - would use again.

This hotel was excellent overall the staff where friendly and prompt. The great thing about it was the cheap internet at only 500 YEN per day. i would highly recommend this hotel to anymore wanting to stay in the area. The hotel itself was located close to the major shopping strip and with subway access right underneath the hotel made it convient to travel around toyko.

We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions in one week. The first stay was midweek and was a good rate with a reasonable size room. On the second stay it was Saturday night and the rate was much higher with a very small end room. The hotel charged 500 yen for 24 hour internet which we thought was a reasonable rate. The staff were friendly and helpful.
