One of the nicest hotel in dunedin. Great for family or business trip. centrally located, nice decor, good size bedroom, clean, quite classy. I will come back to stay again when I visit Dunedin next time. :)

Room was small but sucificent for our needs. Bed was very comfortable.

The food both at breakfast and evening meal was excellent but the service was extremely slow, and it was not due to the hotel being busy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the historic Mercure Hotel, Dunedin. The staff were extremely helpful and everything was very comfortable.

Spent the night freezing, no electric blanket & only an electric heater for warmth. Shower pressure & ability to regulate very poor. Room tiny. Welcome excellent.

we found the street noise levels very high and were woken several times during the night by cars stopped at the traffic lights outside our room.we would not stay at this hotel again

Nice hotel and we had a good night. I entrusted the car to the staff overnight and it came back unscathed. Had a good happy hour session in the bar, at ground floor level facing the street. This is the old DB Wains hotel. I would definitely stay again.
