The Mercure was a very conveniently located hotel and our room accommodations adequate but nothing special. The dining facilites were first class. We did find the staff to be outstanding and most helpful in attending to our baggage needs (and storage) and making us feel very welcome. Since we were there just overnight, we took advantage of the city bus (stop located right outside the hotel door) that goes around the city. There is also a free bus whiose stop is also just outside the door.

The location is great, smack right in the middle of town and within walking distance to everything This is now the reccomended Hotel for all my staff

Was greeted very professionally, when getting to the room, I notived there was a continuos loud noise coming from the wall, when informing the staff they moved me without hesitation to a Deluxe Room, this was very kind and the room was big, Thank you Mercure

Great central location. Great view of skytower from 12th floor window. Busy weekend - long queues at checkin and checkout. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking limited.

It's very good location and a nice people in reception. The bathroom in guest room is OK. Considering the price, it's a good deal!

Pricing very good value for money, great location in relation to Vector Arena and Viaduct. Hotel itself is showing its age, rooms/corridors felt "old'. Lobby was dark, not that inviting, however restuarant had great views and a good breakfast (except the scrambled eggs which were a bit grey). Service was mixed, initial checkin was not that helpful, but check out, concierge were very good. and we left a book in the room by accident and they were great about sending it to us. All in all a pleasant experience.

Excellent location though parking is a problem

Had to pay an additional $30 to up grade to a room with a sea view and housekeeping wanted us out at 10am but checkout was 11am. The room was very hot with a noisy cooling fan. The room was clean and a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
