I stayed for 3 nights with partner. The room supposed $160/night for standard room. What my experience from the 3 nights were : Room too small, noisy and suggest you bring your ear plug. Should avoid this hotel unless you have no choice or if the rate down to <$80/night for standard room. Good luck

It seemed like a good deal and the location is nice. But when we checked into our room was the size of a small closet. It was so small, the bed took up most of the room and there was no place to lay our suitcases! It was a cold night and there was no heating system in the room. We asked for another room but were told that we had already been assigned this room and could not be moved. Staff were not friendly and not helpful. They eventually consented to bring a heater to the room. Shower was dirty. Bathroom floor tiles were cracked. One of the worst hotels I have ever had to stay in. We had prepaid for 3 nights but it was unlivable so we moved out the next morning and forfeited our money. We moved to the Holiday Inn Adelaide which was very nice! Highly recommend the Holiday Inn.

We stayed in the budget level room and got what we expected - a small room, tight bathroom but have no complaints. Service at the front desk was very good and accomodating to our requests. Would stay there again

Had some trouble with the lifts and the automatic garage doors. Hopefully just a once off.

We stayed in the budget room so didn't expect much. The staff were very accommodating and flexible with our booking. Will stay again if in Adelaide

The economy rooms are exactly that. Cheap but with no frills. Car parking underground is a disaster. Big pylons make parking a large car quite tricky. Overall quite satisfactory but you can do better with a little research.

the room was supposed to be equal to 4star hotel,it certainly wasnt.we had to ring house keeping for towels (they had forgotten them)the room is so small there was no room for side table and lamp on r/side of room.the air conditioner was so loud we had to turn it ioff.the window is extremely small.will never stay there again

We were very disapointed in the room we were given at the Grovenor. We were informed on arrival that we had been upgraded to a superior room instead of the economy room at no extra charge. The room was so small, just enough room to walk around the bed. We had to turn sideways to get into the bathroom door as it was so narrow. My husband had to hold the plug in place for the hairdryer to work as it fell out all the time. Would not go back there again.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Mecure Grovsner Hotel and I will stay there again. Their staff were very courteous and extremely helpful, and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The hotel was in a great location in the city of adelaide. A block away from the main shopping/cafe strip and right outside was the tram stop (free city tram usage). The staff were very helpful and made my stay effortless. I had booked one of the economy rooms which was clean...small, but that was expected for the affordable price. Compact and all you need! If you like to be able to swing a cat in your bathroom then i wouldn't suggest this room though. All in all clean, affordable and close to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was a little small but the cleanliness and freshness more than made up for this. Location to tram and shopping was great. Will definitely would reccommend and stay at this hotel again.

We stayed for two nights between trip to Kangaroo Island, the first night we had in a loud room near a night club that just expanded and it was difficult to get any sleep. Bathrooms was very, very small. The second night, we asked for a room away from the noise, and were put in a very quiet location in the hotel with a larger bathroom, experience was much better! Friendly staff.
