The hotel has a great location but the staff's English is very poor. There is no wireless internet in the room and we had to go to the lobby to use it.

Although we did not like Palermo this hotel was an oasis where we spent most of our time. Our room was fantastic, clean, spacious and ever so slightly decadent. Ok it is a bulk standard hotel chain but when you have been on a long journey from Milan by train stopping off on the way at 2 and 3 star hotels, this hotel was an incredibly relaxing way to spend our last two days in Italy/Sicily. Breakfast was fine, the bar was fine and the TV package was great. We got this room at a great rate through Venere and would strongly reccommend it.

Well located in central Palermo within walking distance of most everything. Modern, well run facilty with excellent public spaces and generous breakfast layout designed to fit a wide range of tastes. Near numerous excellent restaurants and shops. Didn't have a car here, so don't know about the parking situation.

The bus from the airport drops you off at Politomea Square, a five minute walk away from the hotel and it only cost 5 Euros each. The hotel was modern, clean, bright and welcoming after 24 hours of travelling. It had a great balcony to look out over Palermo. The breakfast was excellent and their cappucino was hot! Walkable distance to everything. Palermo was a lot more charming than imagined and near the hotel there were different restaurants to try.

Breakfast was very nice first morning at 7.30. But having breakfast later was a mistake because things were missing, coffee was cold and so on. I guess it was meant to be a stylish built hotel, however much of the material used seamed so be cheap and broke easily. For example was our bathroom flooding because of some mistake in the construction and there was a hole in the roof in the reception area. We were offered a new room because of the bathroom.

Great hotel on a charmingly scruffy street (one that is quiet for Palermo) with interesting nearby restaurants and shops. A short walk to several car rental outfits at the water end of Via Mariana Stabile.

Hotel is centrally located and, compared to the surrounding neighborhood, is quite modern. In addition to the night booked, we stayed a total of 5 nights in conjunction with a group and the stay was very pleasant.

Magnífico hotel muy bien situado, con un trato muy bueno por parte del personal, el mejor hotel de todo mi viaje de 15 dias a Sicilia sin lugar a dudas.MUY RECOMENDADO

Good location and relatively clean but they do not provide the finer detail in the toiletries department that I would expect to see in a four star establishment. I was also really disappointed not to have 'proper' coffee in the morning with breakfast. Other than that very reasonable.

Although it was written that private parking was available, in fact we were informed that it was full and therefore we had to find another solution. Besides, we were informed that in any case we would have had to pay for it, which was not specified in the information about the facility. Besides this, some of the personnel was not really helpful and kind. But the location was excellent, rooms were spacious and clean.

The hotel is phisically good. The building, the rooms, the A/C and the halls are all good. The problem is the people at the front desk. They are very slow and understand "nothing" of english and do not care about the customers problems. Additionally the parking space is very reduced and the hotel has not safe box. The first day we did not have soap at the bath and the second day we did not have shower towells. We asked for both but they never sent any. This hotel could be an excellent 4 star but they have to put better people to run it.

Very dissapointed with this hotel. This premises is marketed as a four star....whereas it would more realistically pass for an ordinary 3star...at a push. Not quite sure how or where the extra star came from. The rooms, while very clean and quite new, were particularly small. The biggest annoyance however was the noise - the room we stayed in was right next to the elevator and suffered loud machinery noise all night. The hotel staff seemed surprised this was a problem. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel...there are far more charming...and much cheaper...options in Palermo

Electric power was off for more than one hour withour any explanation in the morning of our second days, no electric, no water for toilet, no hot water for shower. No information of public trasnportation at the receptuion, who does not think they are in a position that they shall know and provide them to the guests.

The photos shown on the site don't do justice to the overall quality of the hotel. It is a very beautifully designed place. Staff are very friendly and helpful The garage is on the small side, so unsuitable for large (long) cars and there are only 8 spaces available. Though the maps are accurate, it is a bit difficult to find the hotel, which is not signposted in town. One trick is to follow the signs for "Grand Hotel delle Palme" on the Via Roma and turn right just before reaching it.

My stay at this hotel was quite good, but I have a mitigated feeling on some aspects, especially the quality of materials used in the bathroom (a shower and you completely flood the room !!) and the language competences of the employees : you'd better speak a little italian because they do not speak english !!!
