The location was good and the main shopping street is a block away. The room was nice and cozy. The bathroom looks like it was recently updated, but could have spent more time on the fine details. Overall, a good value for the money and location.

Large clean rooms, comfy bed, great location, especially if you want to go to some great nearby pubs and restaturants (and much nicer than temple bar ones) not have far to walk home.Close to the red bus tour stop and 30 seconds from Grafton Street.Although not the most modern rooms, not dated, it was very clean and well maintaned.Take your own hair-dryer though, ours was awful. This hotel was quiet at night too, I've stayed in some hotels in Dublin that are next too or above pubs that are open until 4.

The staff was helpful when we needed help with the phones and let us use their front desk phone, etc.

Very good location right in the centre of town near the shops and some nice bars and restaurants.Excellent value for monet, helpful staff and good breakfast.

I booked 2 rooms to sleep 3 people in each room.We checked into the rooms only to find that they contained just 1 bed. We then requested an extra bed for each room but they refused to do this. This meant that we had to pay for an extra room at a cost of 249 euro. Not very satisfactory and it was very difficult to communicate with the staff there

A very pleasant hotel in the St Stephen's Green part of Dublin. Very handy for the shopping mall, St Stephen's park, the green tram route into the centre and the Gaiety Theatre (literally just round the corner). Friendly staff, very nice food and cheap parking (in the College of Surgeon's multi storey which is part of the same building) make this a hotel we would certainly like to use again.

What an excellent choice in hotels! When I was doing research to select a hotel, I read about the helpful staff (which it was) and the excellent location (which it was). What wasn't mentioned was the quality of the room. For the price, it would be tough to beat. We stayed in a 3 person room and we were welcomed with a clean, up to date room with soft duvets on the beds and free mineral water every day of our stay. The only warnings worth mentioning would be that the pillows are a little hard - if you are wondering if you should bring your own, do it, and the shower had no pressure. But they wouldn't keep me from staying there next time I go back.

the hotel needs refurbishing as water was coming through the cieling in the dining room and was being caught in a bowl, i have stayed there before and it is a good base for seeing the sights and in easy reach of the bars over the half penny bridge.was noisy at night as in a front room but could handle that due to location. cheap budget hotel

It was a very pleasant stay for different reasons:1) the position of the hotel in the very heart of town2) nice and comfortable room (enough large even for our three beds!)3) courtesy of staffThe only \"bad point\" was the very small living room/bar aerea, wich was not at the level of the hotel and seemed to be neglected. It should be redecorated. We will recommend the hotel to our friends!

My second stay at the hotel-staff equally helpful and friendly, room clean and comfortable. I decided to return as my first stay had been so enjoyable, and the room I was in then very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, the room this time (rm 211) was opposite a building site, so was really noisy, with work on the site starting both days I was there at 7.30-banging hammering and power tools . OK if you were planning on getting up early anyway, but bad news if you wanted a bit of a lie in after a late night!! If you are thinking of booking, make sure your room is as far away from the building site opposite as poss, unless you are a very heavy sleeper. Can't comment on the food, as we had our breakfast at \"Nude\" in Suffolk St, just a short walk from hotel. Can definately recommend this both for breakfast and lunch, if you want something a bit healthier than the Irish fried fayre. They have fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli, porridge and smoothies made to your spec. They also do bacon bagels, and a great selection of teas and coffees.

What a great location ... easy to access all the Dublin sites by foot. Just far enough off the beaten path that the noise from the Temple Bar area and Trinity College did not carry over. There was pride in the hotel staff as it was well groomed and looked cared for. Our room and ensuite was bright and cheery, very pretty and the bed comforatble which after a long day of sightseeing was a blessing. It was great to have free indoor parking next door at the Royal College of Surgeons. We tried to stay later in the week when we returned from touring the countryside but it was fully booked . We certainly would return.

Based in a great city centre location - with parking included in room price which is fantastic. Clean and convenient place to stay. I'll be back.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in Jan-07 with 2 friends. Triple room had 1 single bed + 1 double. Excellent location for shopping, Temple Bar, etc. Overlooked building site. Overpowering whiff of air-freshner in corridors, obviously masking something else .... as we discovered in the confines of the lift! Nice bar area. Didn't eat there so can't comment on food, lots of other places to eat within walking distance. Taxi there from airport cost 30 euros, taxi back cost 40 euros! Beware, Monday morning traffic is horrendous.
