First night in KLVery nice hotel and excellent value with the Late Rooms offer. The breakfast was a very good mix of local and western dishes to suit all tastes and it really set you up for the day ahead. Will certainly be returning in the future.

Upon arriving, my girlfriend struggled up the stairs with her bags whilst the doormen seemed disinterested. Upon checking in, (15 minutes after check in time no less) I was told we'd have to wait for another hour before checking in. It had taken us some 6 hours to commute from Siem Reap and they seemed disinterested in helping us. Management found a room for us on a non smoking floor which smelt like smoke. I found the staff relatively unfriendly and uninterested. Coming from Thailand and Cambodia, the hospitality was left wanting. I would like not stay at this hotel again.

When we arrived there was a queue at Reception and it took 30 minutes to get checked in. The staff were very apologetic. We had requested a double room on a non smoking floor which was not available bsowe were upgraded to an Executive room at no extra charge. The hotel is not too far from the major attractions of KL and public transport is easily accessible.

Being located very close to major shops and skyrail station makes it a great place to base from. Service was good considering how busy the place was. Rooms exceptionally clean and well maintained. Facilities were very good, - had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Would stay there again for sure.

1. melia kl hotel's location is very good, opposite bejaya times square and 3 mins' walk to the nearest electric tram. 2. staff of the melia kl hotel is friendly and polite. 3. room is very clean, no complaints.

Good price, great location but hotel is showing its age, rooms and bathrooms are a little old and tired looking.
