I was going on a 5 day visit to see my girlfriend who was studying there. The problem I had was that she was not allowed to even come up to my room. She was not going to stay there but, she was not allowed to come up at all. My plane arrived early that morning and she made sure I got to the hotel and it was early for her and she had to get back on the subway without getting any rest.

It was clean and dthe pool was very relaxing. You had to pay for intenet, everything was an additional charge and the location is better suited for business travelers. The hotel was very clean, the linens were lovely. The service was good. The location was fair, great for a bussiness traveler.

I stayed here for four days and would stay again. I checked in and found myself in a room that had an intermittent clank in the ceiling. They said they would repair it but by early evening didn't. They said they couldn't move me due to the hotel being full and them put me in an upgraded room. This room was gorgeous. The decor was neuveau art and had separate drench shower room another room with sunken bath. The comode and bidet in yet another room. They were open to the bedroom. The bed was huge and the windows kept out every bit of noise on the street below. The tv had CNN and BBC.The main thing I was impressed with was the cleanliness. The whole hotel was immaculate.Staff were friendly and informative and breakfast was more than ample.The neighborhood is not Recoleta but is so close to everything and Florida St. is two or three blocks away. Restaurants and cafes abound as well as banks and internet kiosks.I would stay in a Melia hotel again when I travel. This was the first time and I'm sold.

Great breakfast included huge rooms unlike so many other hotels in buenos Aries. Great hotel, quiet location, comfortable rooms and breakfast included. Always tell everyone who comes tostay here.
