Recently refurbished, the hotel is located at the beginning of the peninsula of Jandia in a very calm protected natural environment, at the start of the 30 km long Barca beach. The modern Melia Gorriones has four swimming pools, one with salt water, one heated in winter and another especially for children. There is an extensive program of activities; some for active guests and others for simply relaxing, including the SPA.
