Great hotel!A superb hotel in every aspect that i would highly recommend!!

I was looking for a small, intimate, very French hotel. This place really fit the bill! It was absolutely charming! Our room was spacious (unusual for European accommodations), the bathroom had all the amenities, the staff was lovely, and the location was superb!! There was no pool or fitness center, but that was completely irrelevant to me. This hotel was a lovely home away from home.

Good tourist location. 25 Euro for breakfast was much too expensive.

Hotel Colbert does not dissapoint in any way. It is a small but very comfortable hotel within a block of the Seine in the Latin quarter. We had a view of Notre Dame from our bedroom window. The sttaff was very polite and helpful-the room very comfy. I wold definitely stay there again.

great hotel if you manage to get the discounted LR rates...We managed to get this (double) room at a rate of 80euros per night and were overall very impressed with our accommodations during our long weekend visit to Paris.Great location tucked on a quiet street with all available amenities located within a few seconds walking distance - internet cafe, patisserie and some good restaurants all round the corner. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful the rooms were well maintained and clean the only comment is that there are no kettle facilities or availability of an iron/ironing board.A great find and would certainly stay here when looking to book our next trip to this stunning city, well done Late Rooms!

Buffet breakfasts in the morning were a great way to start the day. Amenities - English TV channels, extra hotel services - were non-existent.

The people were friendly, the room was comfortable and there was a view of Notre Dame from the window. Need I say more?

Short breakWe were lucky to get a really good deal through Late Rooms - the going rate seems to be about £200 per night but we got it for much less than that. Fantastically located about 250m from Notre Dame and couldn't have been better. Given the price we got it for couldn't fault it. Electrics in the room were unusual though - had to work out which lightswitch to turn on for the plug to work!Don't have the breakfast - €28 or €18 for a continental - no way. Overall though a brilliant time and the staff were really helpful - well worth going to at the right price.

Location. Very limited public space. Our family of nine stayed at this hotel and were treated warmly. The hotel is on the side of Notre Dame and in Latin quarter. It extremely convenient for dining and inexpensive shopping. We walked to Luvre, Musee D'orsey and Saint Chappell but had to take Metro to Champ Elysee, Arch of Triumph and Eiffel Tower. For serious and up scale shopping at St Honore or Lafayette, it was a little far.

Melia ColbertWe got an amazing price on this deluxe hotel. Very central opposite NotreDame. Could walk everywhere and enjoy Paris. Room very clean and tastefully decorated. Warm welcome. Only complaint - there was no tea or coffee provided in room. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location not service orientedDespite for a location just near to the Seine and Notre Dame, 200 m, there are no noise problems. The reception and room service staff, most younger girls were much to unwilling to help, smile, and generally be og assistance. Every little request seemed a nuisance.

Good experienceIn general a very good hotel and in an excellent location, the location was second to none with regards to being right at the heart of the latin quarter. The hotel was very good value for money although could do with an interior upgrade.

Great location, private and very close to Notre Dame and Left Bank restaurants/shops. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, particularly the Twin rooms. Staff are friendly, and knowledgeable about local services (taxis etc).

Spring break in ParisThis is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Very traditional furniture and decor, elegant and stylish. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and they spoke very good English. The hotel is located on a quiet side street (great because there was hardly any passing traffic) and yet was a stone's throw from Notre Dame (we could see it from our bedroom window). There any number of bars, bistros and restaurants within a very short walking distance (just as well as I was usually completely exhausted from walking during the day!). A lively and bustling area right on the doorstep, this hotel offers a little haven of tranquility. The nearest metro station was about 5 mins walk and the Luxembourg gardens (well worth a visit as they are a wonderful place to sit in the sun and watch the little sail boats on the pond) are very close by. My husband joined the early morning joggers there and thought it a great place to run. We loved this hotel an would definitely stay there again. Booking through laterooms made it fantastic value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

mediocreThe staff were lovely, entrance and lobby area very stylish but room was a huge disappointment, looked shabby and in need of repainting. Bathroom very small and pokey. Fairly noisey during the night. Location was great but overall certainly would not return!

Not a 4 star I would say 2 Star going on 3 StarPros - Great Location close to metro and trains. The best part of the hotel is its nice front garden and when you walk in it gets worse and worse till your in your room which is small and the decour is like a hostel.Cons - Hotel is not a 4 star. I would say it would be a 2 star in UK. It requires a major referb as carpets are worn, rooms need redecorating and the wall paper is worn in places. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for a nights stay. Be warned if you book the photos dont show it for real!!!
