What a fantastic stay. Wonderful room, great welcome, great night and a great breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay again. I was there on business, my partner joined me for pleasure. It suited us both perfectly. Thank you!

Little GemThis guest is an excellent find! DO NOT be put off by the terraced housing surroundings, just park the car and check in, trust me, the place is brilliant. Only stayed one night, but would definately stay again if in the area. Convenient to city centre. More like a boutique hotel than a guest house - staff were incredibly friendly.

Great b & B which frankly is more like a boutique hotel. A very comfortable clean and tastefully decorated and reovated Victorian residence with bags of original features. A few minutes walk from the cathedral and main shopping area (we were there for the sales) and a lovely restuarant a couple of hundred yards from the B & B caled Henrys, which is recommneded by the B & B and is well worth a visit as food is excellent and reasonably priced, but booking advisable as we just managed to get a table. B & B also a short walk from Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids. Breakfast lovely - Would defintely visit again. A real gem.

This is a lovely guest house beautifully furnished. However it feels as though the owners are still a bit new at it! I think give it time and a bit of tweaking it will be perfect for a break in Exeter.

This was a really nice and friendly hotel, and perfect for the night that I needed to stay in the city for... and it was only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. I had the single room and the toilet was not in the room itself, which wasn't a problem, but members of the public that were using the facilities downstairs were coming upstairs to use my toilet which was off-putting when they left the toilet seat up etc... but I'd stay here again, just in a double room instead.

Check the room desciption carefully as I though I had booked an en-suite room which turned out to be a shared bathroom with the next room. That aside, this is generally a good hotel with free wifi & free drinks in the room.

The welcome I received at this guest house was fantastic - warm and friendly. The owners went out of their way to add extra special touches e.g. a fresh plate of fruit and free drinks in the room. I loved the fact that there were Sunday papers to read in the very comfy lounges!

Very friendly. Good position for the city centre. In walking distance of a vast array of excellent restaurants and bars

A little gem tucked away about two minutes' walk from the city centre, yet very quietly situated (trying not to sound like an estate agent here!). Staff very helpful and welcoming; we arrived about an hour before check-in time and only went in to get information about parking. That was sorted out promptly and we were told to check in anyway as the room was ready. We'd booked a standard en-suite double but were allocated a delightful, spotlessly clean room with a four-poster bed. Thoughtful touches abound in this building -- there are two visitor lounges but only one has a television so it's easy to relax quietly in the other should you desire. Rooms have TV with built-in DVD player and there are shelves of disks in the second lounge which can be borrowed if you wish.Breakfast a real treat, taken in a very pleasant conservatory, with so much fruit on the sideboard I thought we'd stumbled into a harvest festival. Had the full cooked breakfast which was excellent (thick-cut bacon a particular delight).Trying to think of a drawback for the sake of balance, but none comes to mind!

Single room very cramped for £60 - a case of style over substance. Breakfast room dominated by v.large TV @ loud volume- this is not a pub. breakfast room smelt of cooking. The staff were very friendly tho

What can we say - this Guest House is a gem of a find in the City Of Exeter!!! It should be classed as a boutique Guest House/Hotel. Graham & Leon were exceptional hosts, never before have we stayed somewhere and felt so welcomed, at home and at ease. The room we stayed in was of a superior standard, beautiful decor & furnishings right the way through - attention to detail is incredible, nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast the next day was more than we expected. Forget staying in 'large, faceless corporate hotels' and stay here. We shall certainly be spreading the word! Thanks for the hospitality guys - and we will certainly pop in for a coffee when next in Exeter!

The room was fabulous and very nicely furnished. Clean and fresh. Friendly hotel staff. Unfortunately can't comment on food as we had to leave before breakfast. Would definately recommend hotel though.

Hote is deceivin from the outside. I pulled up thinking ...'oh no..' but inside the hotel and the rooms where clean and set out lovely and all staff were very friendly and approchable. I wasn't aware then you had to pre-book parking to park your car in the private car park so I ended up parking my car on the road outside the hotel which was fine but for some guests may not be preferable. My only niggle with the hotel was that with my room being on the first floor above the lounge I was kept up a little from the heavy base and noise coming from the lounge downstairs where someone was either playing a computer game or listening to music a little too loud. This went on til about midnight and was not so noticeable when i was up watching TV but as soon as I turned everything off to go to bed I was unable to sleep until the noise downstairs was turned off too. Not ideal when staying for business and needing an earlish night.

I cannot fault my recent stay in any way, the Hotel is stunning, on initial arrival we where greeted our bags whisked up to our rooms, a real treat and end to our weeks vacation to Devon, cheered us up despite the bad weather last week. The staff could not be nicer, friendly and funny !! The room wa stunning as shown exactly from the web page.If you are going to stay in Exeter and want the best time and best value , stunning breakfast you cannot go wrong and excellent central location. We are looking foward to telling all our friends and going back again.
