What are your breakfast options?

We operate a full buffet-style breakfast. This consists of a full range of cooked breakfast items as well as cereals, pastries and a fruit bar. Breakfast is served from 7:00am - 9:30am (Monday-Friday), from 7:30am - 11:00am (Saturday) and 8:00am - 11:00am (Sunday). If breakfast is included at the time of booking, there is a charge of £8 per person. If a guest arrives on an accommodation-only rate, they can pre-pay breakfast at £9.00 or pay in the morning at the full rate of £11.95 per person. A Continental breakfast can be served to bedrooms; if the guest has breakfast included in their rate then there would be a £2 tray charge for this and if breakfast is being added then the above prices apply as well as the tray charge.

What transport is available to get around?

Being located in the very heart of the city centre our guests benefit from easy access to all local tourist attractions. A lot of which can be enjoyed by a short walk from the hotel. For attractions that are outside the city centre, Buchanan bus station is all but a 10 minute walk from the hotel and Glasgow central train station is just a 5 minute walk.

There is a shuttle bus that goes between Glasgow Airport and the city centre. The service number is 500 and the bus stop is in George Square which is very close to us.

What can I do nearby?

The hotel is very central and is handy for getting to many city centre attractions. The Gallery of Modern Art is at the end of Ingram St; it is free admission so is worth a look around. George Square is right next to the hotel and is a great area to get some photographs.

The city chambers are at the end of the Square and you can do a free tour of the building. The city sightseeing tour bus also departs from George Square, guests can get information on this from the hotel reception as well as a £1 discount voucher for the tour. The tour bus is a great way to see the city and the ticket is valid for two days so if you do not have enough time to see everything in one day then you can go back round and do the rest the day after.

Do you have internet?

We do have internet service in our rooms. This is available both through the TV and also through an Ethernet cable which can be connected to a laptop. There are different rates for this depending on the length of time you wish to enable internet services. One hour costs £5.99, 24 hours costs £11.99 and there is also a £19.99 media package available which enables use of internet and all the TV/Movie channels for a period of 24 hours. We also have free access to Wi-Fi internet in the lobby area for guests to use.

Do you provide parking?

There is parking available at our hotel for a charge of £6 per night. If our car park is full, we have an agreement with a nearby car park (the Glasshouse NCP, Glassford Street) where guests can get a 25% discount on their parking.
