A beautiful quiet place. The host - John - was more than plasant. we were promised a bath in the room - there was only shower. I think room rate should have been lesser. A variety of fresh vegetables would have been very appreciated. there were only Fresh tomatoes & mushroom which we had for 5 days. during hot days an a/c is a must.besides that - we had a marvellous time at Meadowland in particular and in Bath in gneral.we'll be sure to come back again and recommend it to other travellers.

A beautifully presented and friendly place to stay.Meadowlands is a large family house that has been converted to a top end B&B. It was easy to find and a 15 min walk from the city centre. We found the walk comfortable, but as with most of Bath it is on a hill and not suitable for all. First impressions were great with clear and helpful Email communication before we arrived. The couple who run Meadowlands were very accommodating, particularly with our unanticipated delay and very late arrival. The room was large and finished to the standard of a 5 star hotel, with similar facilities in room, small TV, trouser press hair dryer etc. The bed and cleanliness were at the very top of expectations. John mainly looked after us and was helpful and engaging throughout our stay. All in all there is nothing to criticise and a lot to praise in this excellent guest house. Recomended if you are looking for quality at higher prices.

Visit to Meadowlands BathThe accomodation was clean and nicely appointed. We were a little disapointed with the room. The Meadowland website stated that there were three rooms and showed pictures of the rooms. The room we had was not shown on the website and was somewhat smaller and not as well appointed as the others. If I were to go again I would certainly check availability of the larger rooms.We travelled into Bath by taxi which cost £6 each way.The owner was very helpful and gave us information on the best places to eat. We found that a lot of places were fully booked on the Saturday and either closed early or were not open on Sunday so booking early is recommended.

We would go back againVery pleasant experience, in a quality establishment. About 20 minutes walk with one section quite steep, but it is worth the effort. John is very obliging and able host. We have no hesitation in recommending it.

was very dissapointed it was not the room shown in the advert, this was a w/e break for us and thought it would be a big surprise for my wife, the advertised room was just what she likes, unfortunately it was not to be, the room supplied was bland in comparison, but very clean, the owners very eager to please excellent service, would advise confirmation of room to be supplied if it matters to you like it did to me.

had a wonderful stay here, the owners are really nice, breakfast was lovely, couldnt fault anything,about a 20minute walk to bath centre all down hill so that was a blessing, but taxi'd back up for a fiver.for curry fans i suggest you try eastern eye indian restaurant, the food is to die for.

You'll strike gold with this one. They were so accommodating it was like staying with family. Nothing is too much trouble and I would suggest you take their recommendations of local eateries!

My teenage daughter & I had a lovely girly few days in Bath and our stay here at Bath Meadowland was perfect for it. John was a great host as was Basil (!) & made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable & the breakfast was yummy. John was very helpful in giving us directions & useful information about the area & we felt very much at home. It is very likely that I shall return with my husband for another stay & discover more of this wonderful city & great hotel.

This was one of the most beautiful rooms we stayed in. It was large and sunny and done up in soft yellows and blues, decorated most pleasingly. The bathroom was large enough and the shower hot. The food was good. We enjoyed the host. The walk up the hill was pleasant for us. If we had decided not to walk the bus stop was half a block away and went directly into town. We would happily stay here again.

Room was really quaint and beautiful. It was also well stocked. We had 3 good nights' sleep and enjoyed our brekkie. We especially enjoyed chatting with our host, John. Thanks so much John and Catherine for making our stay a comfortable and memorable one.

The breakfast was lovely with cooked locally sourced eggs, sausages, bacon etc and unlimited fruit salad, orange juice, toast and cereal. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. It is a pleasant 20 minute walk into the town centre.

A very warm and friendly place to stay, situated just about right for being able to walk into the city centre via a 15 - 20 minute walk downhill. Beautifully presented and with a great welcome, I would definately return and would recommend it to anyone.

Mr and Mrs Andrew were very helpful and the breakfast was very good. The only problem would be if you were elderly perhaps because there was quite a hill if you decided to walk into Bath or return but apart from that our stay was very relaxed and we both thought that the decanter of sherry in the room was a nice touch.

The welcome was very friendly. only there was a misunderstanding regarding check in time . your website said FROM 14.00 but it was actually 14.00. we have been welcome by the landlady 's Aunt who was very sweet. the family was very nice and friendly. the area within easy reqch of every sties, parking was easy. we 've very satisfied with every thing. the house is beautiful and very tastefully furnished
