The MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort and Convention Center, rated number one in guest satisfaction by Marriott International, in currently revitalizing and expanding their guest rooms and meeting space. The multi-million guest room renovation and expansion, scheduled for completion in August of 2009, includes the addition of two 55 guest room towers, swimming pool and fitness center. All 305 guest rooms will feature lush carpeting, stylish d?cor, refrigerators, and flat-screen TVs. Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the MeadowView Resort provides a magnificent resort setting, numerous dining options, plus state-of-the-art conference facilities to accommodate your corporate meeting needs. Scheduled to open early 2010, the 22,000 sq ft executive conference center expansion will complete the resort?s transformation and provide meeting planners with over 87,000 sq ft of meeting space., Hotel will be undergoing construction from July 25, 2008 to August 22, 2009. The pool, tennis and volleyball courts will be closed. Construction will occur daily from 8 am-6 pm.

Wonderful resort with a good location. The room met all expectations. Resort under construction, minor noise and the swimming pool was either closed or not completed. Wonderful resort, beautiful grounds, golf course as part of the hotel. The only negative that the hotel was under expansion some construction noise. The swimming pool was not available.

This place is beautiful. I was only passing through Tennessee. Wish I had had more time to enjoy this magnificent hotel and the surrounding area. Weekend rate was VERY reasonable. For that reason I tried booking again for July 3 (Thursday - but the beginning of July 4 Weekend), rate quoted was 65 more than my other Memorial Day weekend (Friday night) stay. Staff helpful with directions and information.

Very friendly staff. Room smelled of smoke, the construction drilling was horrible. We loved what this hotel will be when the construction is finished. The rooms could have been a little cleaner and they smelled of smoke. The staff was amazing.

Staff, business center copy services, free apples. Kids, baseball tournament weekend, loud boys. Despite hotel being under renovation, hotel staff was really worked to ensure guests were happy with their accommodations & experiences.

Room smelled like smoke despite non-smoking room. Stayed while on a driving trip. Hotel is designed for business and conferences, less for the leisure traveler. Great staff. Fine room but mine smelled smoky. Friendly staff.

The hotel has a nice workout room. Having to pay for internet, or go to the lobby for wireless. I wish I had known the hotel was going to be under renovation. My view was of a mud pit, the noise during the day while I was in my room was intolerable, and one day I did not have any running water after getting finished with an hour long workout.

Very spacious lobby and amenities; friendly, helpful and attentive staff; overall, very clean andcomfortable beds. There were 6 - 7 hairs in the bathtub when we checked in. A contemporary style hotel, with spacious common areas. I felt very safe during my stay and with small children and a spouse, it was an enjoyable stay for all. The staff was friendly and professional. The grounds, parking lot, lobby, restaurant, etc. were well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The registration desk staff was very friendly and professional. The seafood buffet on Friday night was simply awful. The waitresses were very nice. It seems to be well located for someone attending a conference/meeting at the adjoining conference center, but it was in the middle of nowhere. No other restaurants or shops nearby. We did arrive on a foggy night and left around 9:00 AM the next day.

Location, clean, in room thermostate. Price was not as flexible as in the past time we stayed. I like the hotel. My family enjoyed it. We have stayed several times before and it is always clean and nice. The price was not as flexible this trip as in the past. It would be nice it if was more negotiable. However, overall stay was very good.

Ideal for my business needs; will stay there again. Alittle pricey on the food. Hey, but that's Marriott. The high-speed I/net worked ($10/day, unfortunately), and the food was delicious, and the room and general environment was very pleasant.

Beautiful setting. They charged to use internet in their business center. Lovely accomodations, beautiful setting and access to the workout room was complimentary. The one negative is that the business center charged to access the internet on their computers. I'd left mine at home and couldn't check email w/o paying $15 for 15 minutes.

The staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful. Grounds/hotel was beautiful. Bed was very comfortable. We were very impressed with the hotel. Everything about it was nice. It had a spa like feel - very relaxing. Very luxurious and comfortable beds, as well. The staff was so kind. If going to Kingsport for any reason, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room service (chicken wings) was wonderful & plentiful. Manager would not follow up on handicapped parking being illegally used. The hotel was nice. I expected this room to be free internet, but it was not. It is isolated, so nowhere to walk to. Pretty nice though, well kept.

The staff was very friendly. The parking was somewhat far away if you did not valet. This is a beautiful hotel. The view of the golf course and mountains was break taking everyday. The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff did everything they could to make my stay a good experience.
