Enjoyable stay, right in Newcastle city centre, very clean but could have done with a lick of paint. Quite noisy too, a very loud clock chimes every 15 mins throughout the night.

Spacious accommodation on the main shopping street in Newcastle upon Tyne.We were all very impressed with the space and size of our two bedroomed appartment.It had all the extras we could have wanted and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect for shopping, restaurants and the Universities, with taxi stands close at hand.We would recommend this appartment to families or couples, mentioning the flight of stairs before the lift.

excellent location opposite Fenwicks, thought it may be noisy, but very pleased to say extremely quite. Apartment well furnished, only part not good was the size of beds More suited to 2 single people. Quite good value for money especially if you are travelling there by train as nearest car park expensive and a bit if a walk if carrying luggage

Excellent Apartments right in the Heart of Newcastle CityClean, modern, stylish, light, airy. No problem giving this apartment hotel 100%.Parked at the secure NCP just around the corner for 12.00 GBP. Walked past the Hotel frontage twice before we spotted the door - Right next to Burger King directly opposite Fenwicks; locked glass door with security intercom to the reception. Once we got in everthing was 100%.Helpful receptionist, all details & keys prepared and waiting for us. Lift to all floors. Some of the reviews say the apartments are noisy but we found this to be false on a Thursday evening. I normally stay in country hotels so this city hotel was a real nice change.We had a large 2 bedroomed apartment on the 3rd floor. One room even had an ensuite.I will stay here again as it is so central and allows the business traveller to explore the city without having to use the car.

business trip to the toonAfter many business trips to Newcastle where my colleague and I usually stay in an average twin hotel room I can't believe we could have been staying in a two double bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, a huge lounge overlooking the main shopping street and all the home comforts you could ever need all for the same price.Location excellent. Facilities excellent. Parking in a nearby NCP but no real hassle.Goodbye twin hotel rooms this is the place that we will stay in from now on

Absolutely brilliant stay. Spacious apartments. Very modern. Great plasma tv , comfi couches, bright and airy. Only problem which was very minor was that the playstation did not work. Bit dissapointing for the kids at night. Not suitable for moderate walking disabilities or wheelchair users due to flight of stairs on entrance. Would def stay again. Nearby La Tasca restaurant was grreat too... Staff , food and scenery lovely. Drove to Sunderland next day and the beach was great.

Lovely apartments, but expect some street noiseCity Apartments Newcastle City provide excellent comfortable accommodation and very good value, but one needs to be prepared for street noise. The City Council "deep clean" Northumberland Street between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m. every night and inevitably the vehicles and equipment they use are to an extent noisy. I had a compressor van and steam clean machine parked outside the apartments removing chewing gum from the streets for two out of my three nights - though when I asked the workmen to move the van they did move it a bit further down the street for the last (4 a.m. to 7 a.m.) part of their shift!

The location is very good right in the centre of NewcastleThe rooms were spacious and clean the bed was very comfortableWe woke at 10am and had no hot water we didn't bother telling reception until we were leaving as it takes about an hour to warm up and check out is 11am (luckily we were on our way to my Mams where we had a lovely hot shower)The dishes hadn't been cleanedSaying this it was very comfortable and I would stay here again

would defo book again!Stayed one night for a concert at the metro radio arena, these apts were in a very central location - 5 mins to train station in taxi and 10 mins to concert arena. Lots of shops, restaurants etc nearby too. Receptionist was very helpful. Only minor complaint would be when the windows were opened in the morning it was quite noisy outside. Would defo stay at these apts again though. Good value for money.

Ideal City LocationCity Apartments are located in a great City Centre spot, ideal for shopping, theatres and other Newcastle amenities and nightlife. Stayed here for one Monday night after concert at Newcastle City Hall which is only a few minutes walk away. The apartment block was quiet during our stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The apartment itself was very smart, modern and spacious and if you enjoy the outside hustle and bustle of city life then this is for you, our apartment having a great view over Northumberland Street with its shoppers, revellers and street musicians. I would definitely stay here again either for a short or longer term stay.

Apartments in the centre of NewcastleYou cannot be more central than these apartments, yet they were quiet and very comfortable. There's a supermarket not too far away as well. It's not obvious where you would park a car, but I didn't have one with me so I didn't need to investigate this.

There really is nothing to complain about!Stayed here for a city break on a Sunday, very cheap price for such a fab apartment!Location is on the main high street of Newcastle so easy access to all tourist attractions/transport etc. Apartment good size, very clean and nicely decorated with all amenities you would expect. As for the hot water issue someone mentioned, if youre naughty and fiddle with the boiler timer you get instant hot water lol.(Only downside to room 302 is you shouldnt expect a nice view from the apartment - I can live with that!)This is an ideal place to stay, would definitely revisit :)

Broken sleepif you need a good nights sleep don't stay here. it is not clear on booking that this apartment is on the main shopping high street. All night there were drunken students singing in the street. At 3 am Burger king (next door) had a delivery with those huge metal cages being unloaded and wheeled across the cobbled floor - unbelievable noisy.
