Jeanne and Carl are genuine, fifth generation New Zealand, South Island Kiwis, having travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and internationally. They enjoy meeting guests from a variety of cultures. Carl and Jeanne are both happy to share with you their local knowledge and passion for their amazing country and both look forward to welcoming you to their home.

Within walking distance of central Picton shopping, cafes, bars, restaurants and art galleries and stunning waterfront scenery. You can swim on the Picton waterfront beach and there are many ecotours, boat charters, fishing charters, sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, dolphin watching and bush walks. The four day Queen Charlotte Track is one of these great walks. Huge cruise liners often overnight in Picton Harbour. In the air floatplane and scenic flights, parasailing and skydiving for the thrillseekers await! McCormick house is only 10 minutes drive from one of New Zealand's most awarded wineries, Johanneshof.

Picton golf course ( 9 hole) is also close by.

From Picton High street roundabout, continue 1. 5km along Waikawa Road, then turn right into Leicester St.

McCormick House is on the right, number 21, the driveway is just before the intersection of Milton Terrace.

Guest parking is up the driveway, on the right.

From Blenheim airport gates turn right into Middle Renwick Road, then left into Jacksons Road, turn right into Rapaura Road. At Spring Creek stop sign turn Left. You are now heading North on Main Highway 1 toward Picton. Follow the main Road into Picton. You will see Waikawa Rd signposted. Turn right into Waikawa Road, keep going straight after the roundabout. After about 1. 5km from the roundabout, turn right into Leicester St, McCormick House (number 21) is the third house up the hill on the right. The driveway is almost on the next intersection. Drive around the huge old Black Beech tree and you should be able to park close to the house.
