When I went I had a great stay, the room service was good! Nice big room and we were 5 staying in it had a great time, would go again.

The room was very old and dark. Noisy air conditioner ran all night just to keep room at 69. Elevator was a joke. The lobby looked to be from the 1940's. Room was a little better but not much. Desk personel were friendly. Never ate in the coffee shop and never saw anyone else eating there. The pool was in another building and not at all kid friendly. Location in the industrial part of town. Strip place right across the street. Could not walk anywhere. Would never stay here again.

We were on the first floor facing the parking lot which was loud and busy. The walls in the rooms are paper thin and you can hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms and all the noise from the hallway. We were kept awake by a crying baby, people going out to the parking lot to smoke and extremely squeeky doors from the room beside us. Needing some upgrades too, peeling paint in the bathroom, and room smelled awful. The beds are really comfortable though and Heather, the Customer Service Manager, was very friendly and helpful. With all the other hotels in the area, I would go somewhere else next time.

We were in a room located in there tower on the 6th floor, on both the Friday & Saturday we were kept awake due to the music coming up from the nightclub below. At c/o ourselves and another room that also complained (they were on 5th floor) were both told that nobody has ever complained about the music from those floors. I was supposed to get a call from the manager, but a week later still no call. There was a very cold draft coming from the outside wall, I actually thought the window was left open it was so cold and drafty, but it was closed. Rooms are looking very tired and showing their age.Kids were able to be in the pool up until 11PM on Friday, but on Sat evening it was closed with no explanation.

This is a good hotel, but its grown more then it is staffed, to begin with Orbitz precharged our credit card, which is fine until the hotel uses your credit card to preauth a damage deposit amount then double charges the room... then they place you in a nice room until about 3 in the morning when everyone leaves the busy bar and starts partying in the parking lot, (which staff would not clear)...then they have the room so hot you need to ask for a fan to cool you off, then the next nite its soo cold you walk around at 1am to find a broken window with a cold draft coming through, then on the last day of your visit the staff quietly slip a bill in the amount of your hotel stay that needs to be paid at check out under your door...what a hassel, if they were more organized this would have been a 4star hotel and only if they assigned a room away from the bar...otherwise clean rooms within 5mins drive to West Ed Mall...and lots of restaurants close by. Also if you wanted to go for a swim you have to walk 10-15mins through the hotel to get to the pool area.

It was a disappointing stay. So called deluxe room faced parking lot. Standard room, squeaky beds. Access to pool horrible took kids down a long corridor only to find an arena that we had to cross through, not being warned that we needed shoes so we could cross a loading area, we had to step around broken glass and walk through dirt! Food from room service sat for hours outside of rooms. Could hardly sleep as we could hear the music from pub!

They say that they are a 4 star hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel. I have stayed at better 1 star hotels. Room was dirty from previous occupant. used glasswear, pizza box with pizza still in it and the garbage cans were still full!! Carpet had stains and cigarette burns. I kept my socks on the 2 days I was there. I felt dirty and was glad to get out!! The best part of the hotel was the front desk help. Thats is it. Do not stay here! I would like my money back!!

We Have a trade show there every year, I thought the hotel itself was okay, we became a sponsor of the trade show this year and still couldn't get a room for the show even after we pre-booked when we left last year but now they are saying that didn't happen and I have no way to prove it, I should have gotten a confirmation form. They were almost ignorant to rude on the phone almost like you were bothering them. we left a civilized message for the manager to call us to resolve these issues, no one ever called us back...Suprise suprise! All of this so we could book a room through a on line travel website, thank god they were there, when the hotel said they had no rooms we went online. Now we have to go through this again this year, we would go somewhere else but the trade show is in the building and it's (-30) - (-40) during that show so we really dont want to drive, under normal circumstances I would never let a Hotel force me to spend my money there but for now that is where the show is. Ther is way better out there, find it!

The Mayfield Inn was an excellent all-around hotel. They seemed to be able to accomodate everyone from families to business travellers. The food was outstanding, the housekeeping staff was very accomodating, the rooms were extremely comfortable and it was a very enjoyable experience.
