Mayfield Bed & Breakfast Fort William

Mayfield is located in the rural settlement of Torlundy some 3 miles north of the Highland town of Fort William. We have spectacular views of the Nevis Range of Mountains including Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor. If you are into walking and climbing you can set off from Mayfield up the Ben via the North Face Route. The start of the easier tourist trail is about 3 miles away in Glen Nevis near Fort William. Mayfield is our family home and we offer Bed & Breakfast accommodation to a maximum of 5 ADULT guests in two double ensuite rooms and 1 single room with it's own private bathroom. We aim to offer a more personal service than larger establishments for the discerning guest wanting less formality and a "home from home" atmosphere. As Mayfield is our home you will find that we do offer accommodation in a different way to larger guest houses and hotels, for example we do not offer late check in and we do expect guests to vacate the house between 10.00hrs and 16.00hrs when staying more than 1 night. There is so much to see and do in the Highlands we think you will want to be out and about all the time. Mayfield is a bungalow with all accommodation on the ground floor, however there are steps up into the house. We provide a comfortable lounge for your use and our breakfast room has wonderful views of Ben Nevis. For breakfast you can expect a selection of cereals or porridge, yoghurts, fruits and a full cooked Scottish breakfast or the more delicate speciality breakfast of Scotland, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. There is free WiFi internet access for guests who have a need to access the internet and we can also provide a range of books and maps to help you get the best out of your stay with us including some suggested sight seeing routes we have personally explored. We also provide a comprehensive list of restaurants and sample menus where you can enjoy an evening meal or snack with some establishments offering discounts to Mayfield guests.
