staff was very curtious .Only problem few problems delayed check in and the air worked on and off. Other than that the location and price was unbeatable.

The hotel was just average, housekeeping was not very thorough, but itwas the end of Spring Break so the staff were pretty busy.....The beds were at the end of their useful lifespan. We just came to enjoy a weekend at the beach and did plenty of that. The cinema and some decent places to eat were just steps away from the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again though great location.

we had a pleasent time being close to the board walk. easy walk. located next to ocean deck with good food and atmosphere for being on the beach.

We were warned it was going to be loud because the hotel is right next to The Ocean Deck and it was spring break. But it wasn't that bad if you kept the a/c running. The room was clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. There is a Wendy's and a 7 eleven right across the street and you are in short walking distance to the pier...so the location was great. There are volley ball nets right down off of the pool area that are in awesome condition so bring a ball :) The staff was very very nice and the breakfast was descent. Oh..and the pool isn't heated and there isn't a hot tub either

We were very busy with doing things in Daytona so we were not in room very much--thank goodness! The view was wonderful and staff friendly. You need to add that we had to pay for parking which added 5.00 a day to our stay. I have stayed in a dozen places in Daytona and Ormond--I bring friends that visit us from the north to the beach all the time--this was the worst place I have stayed i was very disapointed.

I loved staying at this hotel. I stayed there last year for spring break and I had a blast without having to leave the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are very clean. It is in a great location and there are so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely be staying there again this year for spring break. =)

This was our second trip to Daytona. We had a really good time. The location was great. Because of really rotten weather the rooms were damp which lead to some undesirable smells. We fixed that problem by staying out of there. The pool was good just a little cold from all the rain. Friendly staff. Short walk to Boardwalk and other attractions. Basically, if you like to spend alot of time in the room, go ahead and splurge on a nicer hotel. For a place to lay your head, this place should suit you fine.

Perfect location for Bike Week! 1 block from Main St. Party all you want and stumble back to the room! Bathrooms are tiny, but who cares?

Our room had an air conditioner leak, and the floor was soaking wet. In addition, there were ants everywhere. They moved us to a room 4 floors down, and the air conditioner there was leaking as well. Because of the leaks (I'm assuming), the air conditioner did not work well. However, it was in a good location.

The staff of the hotel was very kind but the cleanliness was awful...the maid used to clean the room just when we told to the front desk about it.....It was very dirty... but all other aspects where ok....It has a really good location.....

The Best Western Mayan is very old but clean enough for a older motel. The bath room was very small. The elevators were old and very slow. One of our beds had a nasty stain on it. One of the only good things about this motel is the Ocean Deck Club is right door and you can walk there. That's the reason we choose this motel.

The Mayan inn upon arrival seemed to be just okay. Didn't like the location its right by the boardwalk. And the rooms weren't very well insulated as there was alot of noise from the rooms above as well as from outside, we were up on the 4th floor and could here all the commotion from the pool area and Tiki bar. Not family friendly and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Also the room appeared to be clean but there were Ants in the bathroom and around the sink area. And there were dark stains on the carpet and the room had an odor. And the Shower seemed like it took forever to get warm and then it would go from Cold to Scolding hot and back to warm. Every time someone would flush the tiolet upstairs above us our tiolet would sound like it to was flushing and our tiolet backed up twice and the maintenance person had to come in and fix it and left dirty water all over the bathroom floor and tiolet seat. And then there is the Elevator that made creaking and popping sounds, didn't sound good at all. There were times we weren't even sure if it was going to stop between floors, it seemed to pause and then it would make more sounds and continue on to the next floor. It is in desperate need of upgrades and repairs. We will not be staying at this Hotel Again.

Overall, the hotel was not bad. However, the bathroom was very small and not as clean as would be expected. The coffee maker in the room did not have a coffee pot. The location was great.
