Mawamba Lodge Tortuguero

Renovated in 2006, the hotel building houses a total of 54 rooms and is situated on 6 hectares of grounds, offering unique views of the lagoon and the channels. The attractive gardens and the rustic fittings mix with the lush vegetation of the rainforest, with its exotic birds and wildlife. The lodge's facilities include a currency exchange facility, a games room, conference facilities, shops and a laundry service (charges apply). Food is provided in the cafe, the bar and the restaurant. The lodge lies in the North Eastern part of Costa Rica's Caribbean coast in Tortuguero Limon on a sand bank between Canales de Tortuguero and the sea. It offers guests perfect access to the unspoilt beach and the channels. The hotel building may only be reached by boat or by plane.
