The condos are all individually owned and rented out by different rental companies, so if you have a problem you have to call the rental company for your condo, you can't just go and talk to the front desk. That was really annoying. Plus, our condo was old and not very clean. The place was crawling with spiders and the air conditioning unit didn't work very well. Other condos in the complex looked really nice and redone! Pay attention to the rental company you go through for Maui Vista, because you could end up with a run down place or a really nice place. I would not stay here again unless I knew which condo I was getting. Great location just across from the beach!

The location, price and the outstanding quality of the room was beyond our expectations, especially for the great price we got!! Very well furnished, clean and prompt, friendly staff. We always felt safe and comfortable. Located DIRECTLY across street from a beautiful beach, "Sea Turtles" every night to go with the awesome sunsets. We were on the 3rd floor with partial ocean veiw. The only thing I can think of the wasn't 100% was the air conditioner was getting old and worn out, but still kept us comfortable, and the hide a bed mattress needs to be replaced. DEFINATELY a place that we will return to and recommend to friends and family.

Our Maui Vista stay was comfortable and was good value for money, only thing that I din't like was that in all 6 nights no one came to clean the rooms so we had to do it on our own although, it was written that every morning someone will come to collect garbage and clean room. Otherwise, it was good place to stay and its near to beach also and just 10 minutes drive from Kahului airport. Kitchen was well furnished. We didn't use pool or any other amenities accept our room So, I would say overall we liked it.

We found the location to be well situated. Walking distance to the beach, dining and shopping. Room was clean and updated. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We checked in late and were given our room number and code to the lock box on the door the day before. Unfortunately, someone made a mistake. We opened the door to find the room was occupied. What a shock! Thank goodness the occupants were not there at the time. It took some phone calls to get the correct information. I would never leave the key in the lock box as they suggest, this could happen to you! Location is great. Beach is across the street. Down the street a bit is a beach with great snorkeling. Surfing lessons at the beach in the other direction. Easy to get to the main highway and travel to any part of the island. Air conditioner is poorly located in the livingroom with the bedroom at the opposite end. You must leave the door to the room open if you have any hopes of getting some of the air down there. Complex has great gas grills for community use in the courtyard. Dishes, pots and pans, all provided.

If you want to mix up your bacteria's with other peoples this is the place to be , because nobody clean ever this rooms , they just straighten up a little after some one is checking out . Next time I'll pay $200-$300 more and I'll stay in a decent hotel . Sometime I wonder myself ...How some people stay in business ? I have travel all over the world and worked in 5 ...4...and 3 Star hotels but I never see something like Maui Vista ( messy , dirty worst customer service ) I have to carry for 5 day this heavy key which I have removed from the door when I checked in . I called twice and they said that will provide the normal keys , never saw them . Overall was the worst experience and I think you better go camping if you want to travel for cheap instead staying at Maui Vista . And forget about the AC units because are so weak and can't cool the rooms .

This was our first time staying at the Maui Vista hotel. It was clean both inside and outside. It was great to have a kitchen and a washer/dryer in the room. The room was spacious and light. This hotel is located in a great location; good assess to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We will definitely return to Maui Vista.

We stayed in a unit in the first building of the Maui Vista. Our lanai was on the street/parking lot side. There was too much traffic to keep our windows open to enjoy the nice breeze. The bedroom window was near the elevator, which had people coming and going all night long. The air conditioner in the unit was too noisy to have on when we tried to sleep, and it could not be adjusted to temp, only off and on.

The Maui Vista is made up of many condos and we stayed in 1225. The condos are right across the street from one of the Kiehi beaches! It was very nice and had every amenity we needed. beach towels, chairs, sand toys, umbrella, cooler, etc.. Kitchen had seasonings, pots/pans, all dishes, everything! The condo had DVDs, Road to Hana cds and many Guides to Maui, and best places to eat and visit! Parking is Free, and you can park where your condo is so no worries about it getting messed with! OH and there is AC!!! ANd trsut me you will use it! Kiehi is HIGHLY recommmended for a place to stay!! We stayed for six beautiful days and its close to EVERYTHING. Its right on some of the best snorkeling beaches of all Maui, and it perfect for shopping, sunbathing, snorkeling, surfing, turtle watching, EATING, etc.. We were completely satisfied with the Maui Vista COndos, and the location of the condos in Kiehi!

Maui Vista was nice for the price. It's a cheap place to stay, and it does have a very good location (the Charlie Young beach is right across the street). We thought it was a little more run-down than we expected. The shower head is mounted low on the wall so you practically have to be on your knees to wash your hair. The bed was rather flimsy too. For how much we stayed in our room, however, it was alright. It was rather odd to not be able to check-in at the front desk. Each unit is individually owned so you have to call a different number to get your keys. Overall the stay was alright, but we'll be staying somewhere else if we go back to Maui.

The condos are very quiet and seem to have a lot of families with younger children. They're in good condition and stocked with towels and beach gear as well as all of the kitchen accessories needed to cook full meals. The beds are comfortable, but there are no air conditioners. We turned our airconditioner way up in the living room before going to bed to make the bedroom cooler. The area is very nice. They only get about 4 inches of rain a year. It's breezy a lot of the time which kept us cool. The only real downside I saw was that we didn't get any maid service during the 8 days we were there. It would have been nice to have our sheets cleaned and floors swept at least once before checking out.

The Maui Vista was perfect for my vacation. We stayed 8 nights, and the only thing w/ the hotel is that there wasnt maid service, so you had to clean up after yourself and wash your own towels, and we did run out of toilet paper and we had to buy more ourselves. The good things was they gave us laundry soap and they had a washer and dryer so we did all of our beach clothes, perfect location we walked to the beach to watch the sunset. And i also did like the fact there wasnt a maid that way we knew no one was coming in our room going through our stuff. There were alot of restaurants nearby. and our room also had all the kitchen supplies to cook which we did to save money. I would stay there again, the room was very clean and also had an a/c unit in the main room and in the bedroom so we slept good.

When we arrived at our room we were pleasantly surprised. There was all the comforts of home at our convenience. Adequate cupboard space and utensils readily available for use. A small washer, dryer and dishwasher was an added bonus. The property was well maintained and the pool was clean as was our room. The location of our room was in a nice quiet corner. One can walk across the street to the beach and enjoy beautiful sunsets. We'll do it again.

I really enjoyed maui vista despite the reviews I've read I enjoyed out room in the third building at lease not so sure about the other buidlings. I really enjoyed the privacy of the condo plus it came stock with everything you need to make you feel at home including a spice rack and things like sugar that you wouldnt ussually think about buying while your on vacation and the grounds were awesome too

We enjoyed the kitchen and the living room. But we could not stay in the bedroom. The waterfall outside our window, and echo of all the airconditioners made it very noisy. The worst was a chemical smell that we could not get rid of. So put the matress in the livingroom, since the couch was only a one person convertable, and that fixed it. Quiet with nice fresh air was enjoyed with at wonderful nights sleep. We used the lanai outside our livingroom for a livingroom. So it worked out. The bathroom was clean, the kitchen was clean and everything was there that you would need for a great vacation, which we proceeded to have. It was close to everything if you have a car rental.

Did not know the procedure for securing my Maui Vista key out of lock box. The number listed on itinerary had another referral number. It was after five and the office was closed. The 1 bedroom condo was comfortable, nicely decorated and well furnished with all the essentials. Lots of good eating places close enough to walk to.

We had a lovely 1 bedroom condo, with a nice little kitchen, dishwasher, washer & dryer and a private deck with table and chairs. There was also a tv, dvd player, movies and cd's for our use. The place was spotless, and was like having our own little apartment. The owners called the night we arrived to welcome us and let us know that we were welcome to make use of the beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, boogie boards, suntan lotions, etc. She also told us about the best local places to eat, open markets, and sites to see. We were right across the street from the beach and within walking distance of almost everything. It was the best vacation I could ever ask for, and I would love to go back next year and stay at the same place.

The Maui Vista had it all for us...location,location,location...close to EVERYTHING we needed...beaches..eateries...entertainment & more.This was our 10th trip to Maui in last 8 years..no wonder we keep coming back..the condo was VERY WELL appointed(had EVERYTHING we could use) Already planning our next visit.
