Very close to beach. Unit had fun beach equipment for us to use. Good pool. Walking distant to restuarants. Although the unit was listed as a garden view, we had a view of the ocean also. On the downside, the street was very NOISY. I did not sit on the balcony much because of this. At night you still could hear lots of traffic due to the slat style windows.

Great location. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it all. Everything was available in this condo style resort. Will recommend it to friends & family.

We arrived after the 4:30pm end of shift for the office and had no indication of what to do to get our key. We had not been previously informed of the procedure nor the fact that the elevator was out of service, and would be until November (it was Sept). Our condo was on the 2nd floor and there was no assistance for moving bags either. The condo was old and tired, and needed a good cleaning. The furniture was battered, the showers were moldy and the carpet was filthy. The condo layout and views were great. We lived on Maui for several years and knew about this place and used to recommend it to others, hence our reason for staying there. It was a large disappointment all around and we would neither recommend it nor stay there again.

We stayed in Maui Parkshore last year (spring break 2006) and had a great time. We stayed in #xxx which had a great view of the beaches, Molakai, Molakini, and sunset. The views were the same.... spectacular!!! but # xxx was not as we'd expected. xxx was just next door and had all the amenities in the kitchen, clean rooms, clean carpets, and clean bathrooms. xxx didn't have much in the kitchen, rooms were OK, carpets had stains, and bathrooms were a little smelly and the towels and beds sheets also had an odor. We expected that these units didn't have air conditioning but had ceiling fans. Half of the ceiling fans including the ones in the bathroom weren't operable. Needless to say we were a little disappointed. If it wasn't for the view and the short walk to the beach (just across the street), we wouldn't come back.

We stayed at the Maui Parkshore 2 years ago. The room we had then was AMAZING! This time around, we got a BAD room. To start things off the room (#215) was filthy. The toilets were black and the towels smelled of mildew. No matter how many times we washed the towels, we couldn't get that smell out of them!! Who wants to start their vacation off cleaning house?? The screen was broken, there was sticky stuff on the sofa, we couldn't walk across the floor without our feet turning BLACK and the drawers in the bedrooms did not work. We spoke to other guests staying there during our trip that claimed that they had nice rooms. We booked our trip 6 months in advance so I know that they could not have gived us the last available room. There is no logical explaination WHY we should have been given a room that needed some serious attention. To top things off, there was a man in a BIG van that parked so close to our car every night that we couldn't get in the door in the morning. What a shame since I loved the room we had last time. The locations is ideal - across from one of the few beaches with a lifeguard and the amazing sunsets. It is nice to have all of the luxuries of home - dishwasher, laundry and a full kitchen. I was contemplating our vacation next year and I can't say if I will or won't stay in the Parkshore again. I would have to call in advance and demand that we get a better room. I know they exist...

we really enjoyed our first trip to maui. the condo was very clean and well stocked. the views were awesome and the beach across the street was fantastic. i would definitely stay there again. the only downfall was no air-conditioning so it was rather warm at night. the ceiling fans helped some. the condo was well worth the price

It was just me and my kids (ages 14, 12, 10, and 8) and this condo was perfect for us. It is right across the street from the beach, had a kitchen, and was quite comfortable. Not a five star hotel, very homey, no maid service (which allowed the children to be children), close to shopping, not close to a lot of activities, but the island is small and nothing is far away. Overall a great experience.

"We booked 2 condos at Maui Parkshore. Each was individual owned, so ones was much nicer than the others. There are no AC, so if there's no breeze, it'd get stuffy inside eventhough each room has its ceiling fan. The ocean view from the lanai was nice. It closed to the street, so it's a bit noisy. It's nice to walk to a beach, restaurants, shop .... Our kids loved it and didn't want to leave. Wouldn't mind to have our own condo just like Maui Parkshore!"

"The Parkshore condo is spectacular for a family or a couple. The condo is completly equipped to make you feel like you are at home. It is located at one of the best beaches I found while there. It is also in a very convenient location. The only thing I can say negative is that the traffic is a little noisy, but is not a problem. I will stay there again, without a doubt."
