Please do not stay at this hotel! While I was only passing through Augusta en route to a family vacation, I thought I would save a few bucks and go with the Master's Inn. This turned out to be a terrible mistake. From the moment I attempted to check in, I was concerned about this hotel. As I arrived later in the evening, there was no one at the check-in window, so I had to ring the service bell multiple times just to get service from a rude individual. The woman attempting to check in at the same time as myself appeared to be a prostitute who was getting a room while the man waited in the car. As I looked around the room I noticed what appeared to be rodent droppings around the toilet, dead flies in the front window area, multiple stains on the walls and ceiling, food particles behind the bed and TV stand and clumps of hair in both my blankets and towels. Upon convincing myself that it would be okay "for just one night" I proceeded to return to my car and get the rest of my bags. Across the parking lot there were two men fighting, while another sat by and watched. I witnessed at least one drug deal, possibly two in the vacant lot across from the hotel that was littered with broken bottles and trash. As I attempted to fall asleep, I was disturbed by a man banging on the two doors next to my room as he tried to get in for the night. Needless to say, that I spent the remainder of the night looking out the peep hole. I have travelled quite a bit and stayed in some rough places, but this was the absolute worst.

Its a nice place to stay, very simple,no alarm clocks in room but they do give wake up calls. There is many restruants to choose from within a short walking distance. Nice small pool area .If you have kids the mall is the next exit down from the motel and its a Big Mall with lots to see and more expensive restruants near the mall.

I didn't need to spend a lot of money on my hotel during this trip. It wasn't fancy, but it was very clean. I was, in fact, very impressed with the cleanliness of my room. The staff was friendly and I thought it was a very good price. I would stay here again.

First room we went into was smokey and obviously not clean. Friend used bathroom and I went in after her and the bathroom floor was flooded. I saw that the water was coming from the floor pipes, not the bowl itself. Went to the office, they promptly offered up another room. Entered room and, I still had to use the bathroom, I went straight there and found many cockroaches in and around the tub. Returned to the front desk and reported the issue. Clerk there was very kind and apologetic and asked whether they were 'the big ones or the little ones?'. Asked for a refund and found other accomodations, unfortunately at a much higher price.

Great room for the price, location is convienent to Augusta and Fort Gordon area. There are plenty of resturants within walking distance. No coffee pot in the room, but available at the lobby.

This was a very average, but old hotel. But for the week of the Masters, it was a steal. It was not the Ritz, but it was a great deal for what we paid during the Masters. When you consider the Holiday Inn was $400 you can't beat the Masters Inn

This motel was very noisy. There were heavy bass car stereos in the parking lot so loud that my TV vibrated, and I was on the second level. There were children running back and forth on the upper level until very late at night. When the office was called, I was told that they would look into it. Nothing was done. I did not get to sleep until around 3AM. My alarm clock didn't wake me. I was supposed to be at work at 7:30am but over slept and was almost an hour late. This does not lead to a good work day. The next morning when I again voiced my complaint, the staff told me that they understood how that could make a bad stay, but offered no appology of any type for the problems. As to the room it was OK at best. The cleanliness was average or below and the towels were very small and thin. Overall, I would never stay at this motel again and would not even consider staying at another Masters Inn. If a rating of less than one star could be given, this motel would deserve such a rating. I believe Travelagent would be well advised to remove this facility from their web site.

Would not stay here again. Room allocated was in the long stay section.Very noisy, a lot of late night partying, cars starting ,coming and going throughout the night.the room itself was adequate, clean but basic,I get the impression this place will soon be ready for a major refitt.Glad to check out.

All right, so there might have been a few ""weirdos"" around, and maybe there were some noticeable black hairs on one of our beds, but overall, I feel like we truly got what we paid for. As far as the staff is concerned, the receptionist was very nice. If you just need a place to sleep and one clean bed, this is the place for you.

The owners must not monitor the property at all. Despite a no smoking sign posted in the office, the smoke was almost stifling during check-in. The rooms could have been comfortable for the cost, but everything was dirty. The bathroom smelled to high heavens (we had to make sure the door was shut tight); dirt was visible and the floor sticky. The spreads and blankets were slick with dirt (We had to purchase linen to sleep on). Guests from the next room were arguing and yelling outside our door. The staff smoked in nonsmoking rooms and everywhere else. The rooms are not run down. Even though a wireless connection was present, I could not connect to the internet. The location was convenient, and its just a shame that the place is so dirty.

This hotel really needs updating. Painting and new carpet would do a lot to improve appearence. But for a place to sleep for one night it was ok...I expected cheap and got cheap.......

Master Inn is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I want to mentioned that a hotel that offers weekly rates are not the best and the staff wasn't the greatest either.

I am satisfied with this hotel because I wanted something cheep. It was worth the price. It was neither a great experience nor a bad one. It is a borderline hotel. Not really clean, but not really dirty. It is good enough to sleep and shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothered me was that there was no chain or sliding lock on the door... So anyone who had a key could get in if they wanted!

"No alarm clocks. No hairdryers. Advertised microfridge but it was a weekend and maintenance was gone, so sorry, NO microfridge. Towels were ripped, as well as the blanket. A restaurant parking lot overlooks pool. LOTS of night traffic, even though they had a security guard checking parking lot passes there were lots of weirdos around."

This hotel is set up in front of night club that closes at 3am. Needless to say at 3am the parking lot was full of drunks and people playing their car stereo's so loud it was shaking the building. Cars and motorcycles doing burn outs in the parking lot. Then cops finally show up to move the people on their way 45 minutes later. I would not recommend this place for families nor anyone that wants to get a good nights sleep. The old saying you get what you pay for is exactly right.

We were told that check in time was 3:00. My son and I arrived at 3:30. We were told that our room was ready all that needed to be done was to put fresh towels in the room. We went to the room and it had been smoked in, beer cans were everywhere. We did not stay at this place.
