The restaurant on the top floor gives great views of the jumbo jets landing and departing at Narita International Airport. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to and from the biggest shopping complex in Narita, taking about 15 minutes. (09/05YS) The hotel is a brown, round concrete 13-storey building. The hotel name is easily seen from the top of the building. The hotel is located 10 minutes from Narita International Airport and is one of the nearest to the airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to/from the airport and Keisei Narita Station. Narita International Airport is 70km from Tokyo's city centre. It takes one hour by train or 80-120minutes by bus to central Tokyo from Narita International Airport.

The Marroad International Hotel is close to the airport and has a free shuttle to the adjacent town and mall. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, and the kimonos laid out on the bed incredibly comfortable.

If you have an early flight from Narita this is an exellent place to overnight. The price is well under some local competition and is exellent value for money. There's a shuttle bus (free) to and from the Hotel. The reception staff are very welcoming. I had booked a single but got a large room with a double bed. It was clean and tidy and had double glazing and shutters to keep out airport noise. The hotel shop is rather small with a limited range of consumables. Everything else was fine.

This was at the airport near the lovely village of Narita in Japan. Terrible visit; Hotel staff spoke no English and made attempt for find someone who did. I was put into a smokers room with awfull smell of cigarettes. I took over 1 hour with the hotel staff to get changed to a non smoking room. Very expensive glass of undrinkable wine in the bar on the roof (nice view of the runway) - 800 yen for a small glass of horrible vins de pays. I recommend any travellers to stay in a small hotel in the nearby town of Narita where there are lots of restaurants and bars with great food and cheap prices.

The food wasn't very good. Even though I asked for an early check-in and was there within 6 hours of their check-in time I had to wait. The front desk attendants weren't very friendly. It was handy to the airport so OK. Wouldn't stay again unless I wanted to be there for a flight.

Works well as an aiport hotel, but I would not use it for an extended stay. The staff were efficient, and I had no problem checking in, arranging for the shuttlebus, etc. A gripe about the gym. The hours were limited, and I had to pay 1500 yen to use it. To sum up, when used as intended (ie a brief stay before picking up a flight), I can reccomend this hotel.

The hotel reminded me of a las vegas hotel in a lot of ways but on a much smaller scale. The entry was bright, clean, lots of marble, and ambiance to make it feel big and luxurious. The difference was that it pretty much shut down after about 10pm. Even the AM/PM mini mart in the lobby closed early and didn't open until 7 am. The room was somewhat small but I didn't need a large room for just one person. It had a cool feature I have never seen before, the dual pane window not only had a curtain, but it also had something that looked like closet doors where you could seal out all the light. It was nice for someone like me who needs it dark to sleep. You can control all the lights and AC/heat for the room right from your night stand, so that was pretty cool too. I liked it and would stay there again. Its within walking distance from the exit gate of the Narita airport, so its perfect for long layovers. For those who have not been to Japan, the public restrooms are something interesting to see. There was one facility that I still haven't figured out exactly what it was for. Nice hotel, the bus transfer to/from the hotel was very helpful. Air traffic was not as muffled as I would have expected and my room faced the beginning of the runway so it was a little bit noisy, but that stopped by 9.30pm. Would stay there again.

The hotel price seems cheap at first, however it should take into account that there are no internet and breakfast included. And it is for sure impossible to walk from the hotel to the any terminal of the airport. The facilities are little bit old, however just Ok. It takes quite far even from the hotel to the Narita central. And is 90 kilometers far from Tokyo center.

A good place to stay if you need a place close to the airport. Free shuttlebus to/from airport, so it was very easy. The opening hours of the fittnesscenter is to short. Do not open until 10 in he morning. Would bee nice if th open before, so you can use it in the morning.

Hotel ok but very hard to communicate with them and they had no maps that were in english. Not as close to the airport as you think certainly not walking distance. Ok for a stop over but wouldnt stay there any longer than that

Comfortable bed, excellent shower, quiet effective double glazing and airconditioning, very easy and regular free shuttle bus service to airport (10mins) and to Narita town shops and restaurants (15mins). Foyer and room carpets are quite stained and tired looking but overall can highly recommend this hotel.

We used this hotel as an easy option for an early morning flight from Narita airport. Clean hotel friendly staff, and a free shuttle bus to and from the airport was definately a helpful option. Another great hotel restaurant with buffet style dinner, excelent food!

Great location and price! I look forward to returning to Japan and staying here. FYI - Airline crew for several different airlines stay here and they tend to stay at the best hotels due to their unions. If you have a spare day, ask the front desk for directions to Tokyo Disney Sea. It is about 1.5 hours each way, but there are interesting views of the country on the way. ~$11USD each way for the train + ~$55USD for park admission.

For a hotel that is so close to the airport, it is amazing how soundproof the hotel room was. It served our purpose. We were departing the following day for the U.S.A. and we needed a place to rest and relax. We weren't thrilled with the food. We also felt it was expensive for a buffet. It's a plus knowing that the hotel has a free shuttle bus for guests of the hotel.

The shuttle bus to and from the airport was efficient and convenient. Beds were very wide and comfortable, and the windows were effective at blocking out all noise and light when sleeping. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was the perfect transit hotel.
