My husband and I decided to stay at the hotel and meet up with some friends of ours for a couple of days. The beds are very comfortable and pool facilities are amazing. We had dinner one of the nights at the Benihanas which was lots of fun. The staff are very friendly and attentive, especially the breakfast staff, the maid that did our room and Katie from reception.

Not very good for a 5 star hotel. Service was slow and what you would expect from a 3 star.

For a 5 star hotel the service is quite shocking and it really isn't worth it. I will definitely try elsewhere next time. To start off upon dealing with reception we were told quite rudely by the supervisor there that our booking was incorrect and they could only accommodate 3 people not 4. Once we made it clear we were going to complain, her tone changed and she became quite nicer. They blamed the internet reservation team for the mix up however we were required to upgrade at our own cost, with the hotel taking no onus. Then the manager gave us access to the alandra lounge, and when we started to eat & drink in there, we were told our room was not on the booking and the same manager katie advised she was unaware how we got the special cards. (again bypassing the onus). Alandra is a secure area in which you can only get in with cards. There is no other way we could have gotten the cards. She also tried to charge us for the night and We were told to vacate "immediately". As we didnt request the cards or access and we didnt know about it the fee was waived after disputation. To be honest the best part of the hotel was receiving a drink in the long check in line. The duty manager did provide an ok explanation and offered us a cake however we werent given anything extra for the embarrassments or the hassle.

I loved the smell of the hotel lobby it had a wonderful sweet smell. The hotels dining was really expensive. This Hotel was a very nice place with freindly staff and very clean rooms and the pool area was so wondeful.

Wonderful place to chill out and relax. Close enough to walk to good shops at Marina MIrage, Tedder Avenue or Surfers. Great pool so you can sit in many options: near slide, tropical fish or chill by the poolside bar. Room service great and efficient and JApanese restaurant is top class. A definite must!!!!

Nice, clean, and friendly staff. So far from the activity area (20 min walking). Good hotel but far from the city center.

The swimming pools are great (take your own gogles and snorkel as it can get costly hireing everyday) and the rooms are nice the service is excelent .The food is good but very expensive . You can only enter when heading north and you have to drive a long way south to be able to turn around to head back up to the resort .

My partner and I stayed in an ocean view room overlooking the "tropical oasis pool" and ocean and had an incredible time! The lagoon pool with tropical fish is absolutely AMAZING. We're both 21 but still enjoyed feeding the fish at 9.30am and snorkling. When our shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, we were promptly upgraded and moved to another room. Definately worth the 5* rating!

I loved my time at the hotel and am looking forward to going back. The pool with the salt water fish in it was the highlight for me. Snorkling was fun and safe at the same time. I saw pictures on the web of the hotel which looked good but it was so much better when I got there. The club on the 29 floor was also a wonderful surprise. The views and food were superb. I am telling everyone about my trip

The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The pillows and doona were just delightful. It made me want to spend the whole weekend in bed! We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

We had a fantastic time. The staff were all excellent and friendly form the check in staff to the cleaners. Loved the Elantra Retreat Club and the fantastic breakfast buffte. Just what we neede after a busy holiday, a great place to just relax!
