Interesting stay to say the least. I travel a lot and when I choose Marriott I expect a quality hotel. While the hotel staff was extremely friendly (no complaints there) the rooms were very small and the rest of the people staying at the hotel were "odd". I felt like I was at a Super 8, a lot of blue collar types. While I understand Marriott has no direct control over who stays on the property I was a little baffled at how I choose the hotel which had such low class travelers.

Very convenient location. I should never have to pay for Internet access. Good location. Friendly staff. Nice room. Having to pay for internet access in my room (free in the lobby) and high self parking fees really annoy me.

This hotel had some of the nicest staff I've ever met... which is good, because with a hotel this old they need them. The rooms are tiny - double beds, and could use renovating badly. The hotel itself is laid out in an intersting configuration more reminiscent with a motel (the wings are three story around extremely large courtyards). This makes dragging your bags down long corridors, around corners to yet more long corridors a bit of a chore. It would have been nice if they offered bag service, or even warned you of the trek. In my case it was worsened by the fact I changed rooms 3 times.... yes, I know what that sounds like - but as a solo female traveler, the first ground floor room had outside access via a sliding glass door that was quite old. It didn't feel secure so I asked for another room (after dragging my bag all the way back to the front desk. The next room (again, just as far out) was filled with overpowering odors of must and cleaner... I waivered but since I was there for three nights I left my bag and went back to the front desk. This time I asked the bellman to show me the third room which was quite nice - clean, safe still tiny - and had the bellman move my bag to the final room. Beyond that the age of the rooms - the quality of the beds and ammenities were on par with other Marriot properties. Free wifi access is available in the lobby with plenty of plugs... the hotel food was rather mediocre but a quick trip one stop closer to OHare brings you to plenty of good restaurants.

Courtesy from the staff from the shuttle service and check in counter. Greeted friendly from any employees that crossed my path. Shuttle service was ontime as guaranteed.

Overall my first weekend vacation in Chicago was fantastic. Continental Airlines was always on time even when they were delayed. Marriott hotel was accommodating, very friendly and comfortable. We will definitely book our future vacation over cheaptickets.com. Thank you.

Incredible service, beautiful hotel, great workout room. Price of parking was almost as much as cost of room. The staff went above and beyond expectations as far as service. Loved the pool area with outside and inside pool connected. Had a great workout in 24 hour gym. I wished that we had spent more time just at the hotel.

The staffers were great, but we were shocked to arrive and learn about a mandatory $22 per night parking cost. Since I booked flight/hotel/rental car through the site, I wasn't expecting a surprise extra charge to actually use the rental car! A CSR told me he'd refund the cost, and I encouraged him to indicate the charge on the booking page. I would have stayed anywhere else with free parking for that price. The hotel itself was OK, a bit on the older side, but when we had a bad drain in room 1 and a bad bed in room 2, the staff upgraded us to room three for our third night, which went a long way toward doing business again with the company.

The hotel runs an airport shuttle, which was very cool, since I arrived at O'Hare several hours behind scheduled. It runs about every 15 minutes best I could tell. The Front Desk staff that assisted my check in (and that of my colleagues) was very helpful and accomodating. The rooms were nicely furnished, and the room and bathroom had a very clean appearance. The hotel is very close to an EL-train station (at the end of the parking lot) so I could get to downtown Chi-town in about 30 minutes or so. The mini-mart in the lobby was also nice, and well stocked and considering the location the prices were reasonable. The sports bar/grill in the hotel was decent, and the brunch in the Tiki Lounge room was great. My only criticism is that the high speed internet service was something like 12/day. Not that this is a lot of money, but the fact I have stayed at hotels that offer this for free, and are not as nice as this hotel. Overall, I would stay here again.

The location is perfect for public transportation. You walk for about five minutes to take the blue line train which takes you right into the heart of downtown. The staff is very helpful and do their best to help.Free complimentary shuttle from and to the airport. The rooms are very clean, bathroom nice and large. The bed was pretty much comfortable and we had no problems with the a/c.Internet is for a fee in the rooms, but you can acces it for free in the lobby.Check in was pretty quick,we arrived around 12 pm and the room was ready for us.Check out the same not a problem at all.I will recommend it to friends and family.

Comfort of Bed and cleanliness met my needs. Happy to note that transit system is within walking distance. Should be about a 45 minute ride into the city. With Construction, there was a detour with a bus shuttle and I found that to be a bit frustrating. Same line that runs to O'Hare. I would have hoped that adding room service as incidentals to my tab would have been a lot smoother. Not me having to place a call. There is a grocery store near by just off the exit across the street. Shuttle service to airport was excellent. I find comfort in taking my own cleaning wipes and wipe down the remote control, door knobs, and old those small details that might be missed daily by housekeeping. Maybe bring some plastic cups because all there were was glassware.

Everything was good. The front desk agent was helpful with directions. But,when I checked in I was disappointed to find out there would be a 20 charge for overnight parking.

This is a hotel in the heart of a corporate park near O'Hare. Despite its proximity to an airport, the rooms themselves were quiet. It's a good hotel for the business traveler, and has an unusual combination indoor/outdoor pool. Good bar, which is always important for me. However, parking is expensive ($24 per day).

Location was good. Parking charges The hotel was nice, the night staff was snotty, and they charge for parking. Then, when responding to a little comment card in my room, which encourages people to call the customer service desk, I called and was simply told to write it down. Talk about lack of empathy, and inconsistent messages.

We started the evening with the wrong room. We were given one bed but had 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). I called the desk and they sent up a porter who took us to another room with 2 beds. Although they swear they were Queens, I'm sure they were doubles. My wife and I were pretty snuggly and so were the kids, The staff is awesome. The pools (one is outdoors one is indoor/outdoor) were the kids highlight aside form catching fireflies. The rooms were small compared to comparable rooms I've had. The bathroom was TINY and had no exhaust fan.

Decent hotel but the $24/day parking fee was a surprise. Orbitz never mentioned it while booking the room

The bed was great. You feel like they would charge you to flush the toilet if they could. The room itself is great, but if you are using this service to save money then do not stay here. If you drive they charge you a $ 24.00 per night for parking, internet is $ 13.00. There were several hotels that were in this star range in the area that my fellow business stayed at and even though they paid more per night to stay there it was less when you added up everything I paid on top of the room rate.

Just spent one night but the location was perfect, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was very good.... overall was a very pleasant stay.... would recommend it anytime....

The O'hare Marriott was very reasonably priced for the level of comfort of the room. The location is conveniently close to a subway station, which meant that getting downtown was easy, and getting to and from the airport a breeze. It would have been great if the internet service was free, but it wasn't.

Great staff! Great staff & clean rooms and public areas. Staff were always cleaning!
