Great pool, gym facilities, nice decor and friendly staff.
Date of Stay:

Our greeting at the front desk was friendly and inviting. Our room was clean, but small, no view of anything; fine for a business stay, and nothing more. The price was good, but parking expensive.

Had a great stay, everyone of the staff were great. The fitness area was larger than expected. the location of the hotel is close to everything. But the property was in great shape and enjoyed the continental breakfast on the coincerage floor. Would go back in a heart beat.

The staff was especially helpful and friendly. Very attentive and friendly staff, rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. Would stay there again.

I felt like a valued guest in this hotel. The room was comfortable, up-to-date, and very clean. Quiet. Staff were all very customer-service oriented. Fitness facility was great. I attended a conference here. Conference facilities were average, but no complaints (except the typical conference facility "occupational hazard", i.e. rooms either freezing or too hot.) The surrounding "neighborhood" is a business district with no character or points of interest. If you are a traveler/vacationer and not on business, plan to stop here because it's a lovely, modern hotel and not because you'll have a great view or a large selection of shops or great restaurants in walking distance. There is convenient shuttle service (choice of 2 companies; about 14-16 per person each way) from the San Diego airport. Like my other recent experiences with the Marriott chain, this hotel top-notch in all ways.

I loved the bedding. Nice down comforter & pillows. Parking was $20.00 per day, I didn't expect that. Beautifully decorated.

Being from California but living in Chicago, I go to California 3-4 times per year. Never visiting this hotel before, but using Marriott as my choice of hotel, this was par for the course... Great! While it seemed a little boring during the day, the bar made up for it during the night. The staff was very helpful in setting tee times for my golfing. My room was very comfortable. I didn't eat much at the hotel but there were nice restaurants within walking distance such as Roy's Hawaiian fusion. My only issue would be that it was kinda pricey to park my car rental. The ocean is within 5 minutes drive time and is near Torrey Pines. Looking forward to my next visit.

Clean. No free parking whatsoever (very expensive). Nice hotel, no where to park, except in the covered parking area that is $25 a day, which cancels out any savings we got.

My husband and I recently booked this hotel for 2 nights during a recent trip to the San Diego area. When we booked it we requested a king size bed , they gave us a room with 2 double beds. I called the desk and was switched to a room that shared a wall with the elevator on the hotel. It was Horrible!!!!!! Constant noise all night long!!! When I asked for something else I was told there was nothing available. They said I should take my complaint up with the travel agency as there was nothing they could do. NEVER AGAIN

The employees provided excellent customer service. $20 parking per day. We were lucky enough to get a west facing room where the view was nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our needs that mostly related to us bringing along a 25 dog. They charge a $75 fee for bringing pets/service animals for cleaning, etc. We noticed they were a little stingy with their towels as compared to another place we stayed.

Very nice rooms. Paying for parking, and smoking locations bad. Very clean and accomdating.

Indoor and outdoor pools. Nothing. Nice clean hotel. Very close to shopping, restaurants and freeways. Would love to stay there again.

The staff was remarkably helpful and friendly. Paying for parking seemed a bit much.

Cleanliness. The parking was way too expensive. Overall our stay was pleasant. The only problem I had was that parking was extremely expensive. What difference does it make if I get a good price on the hotel if the hotel is going to tack on another $20 a day for parking. I would rather stay somewhere nicer that didn't charge for parking.

Very clean and comfterable. Ihad to pay 20 dollars for parking. The hotel was great but I feel that if I put a price I can afford and get locked in I shouldn't have to pay for parking. What if I didn't have the extra 20 dollars. I was not happy about the hidden cost. I felt mislead

Nice. Not work losing a night's sleep for a cheaper room. The hotel and staff was nice but they put us in the room next to the elevator. All night long it sounded like I was at the airport with the elevator going up and down. If I wasn't there for just 1 night I would have demanded to have a different room. I hope this is not how Priceline keeps the room cheap.

The technical support guy was extremely helpful. Booked a king bed in advance, but were told they were out upon arrival. I thought overall the hotel was very nice. The only problem that I had was with the front desk. I had called earlier to reserve a room with a king bed and was told that it would be fine. When I arrived, the front desk clerk told me there were no beds available. Also, I was charged for 2 days of parking at the hotel when I only parked 1 day.

Staff was very helpful, during a difficult situation with car trouble. Wonderful hotel, great local, beds comfortable, clean great little breakfast/lunch cafe with good prices!

Very comfortable bed. Poor room, with running elevator noises 24/7; nickel & dime management philosophy. Unsatisfactory. Were given room next to elevator, loud elevator shaft noises all day and night. Complained to management who did nothing; first, no manager was on duty. Due to a tournament, the hotel was filled with children throughout the weekend (understandable). Felt the hotel was very 'nickel & dime' like ie basic television programming - triple listed under hotel amenities - must be purchased, as well as parking at $20/day. There is no separation between the gym and pool/hot tub, so expect to watch gym goers while swimming and vice versa.
