The hotel was minutes from the Mystic Aquarium, Seaport and good dining. The indoor pool was also a plus in case of rain. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel was fancier than our regular destinations, but well worth the price. Check out the special packages.

From the lobby to the staff to the room, everything was great. We got insider tips from the very helpful registration staff member.on great dining venues in Mystic. Our room was clean, the bed very comfortable. The only complaint I had was trying to get the room cooled. Apparently, a new thermostat system was installed that is based upon a motion sensor. When your are not moving, the air cuts off????? They promptly sent an engineer to check but I was told there was nothing they could do. It did cool down in the night when the temperatures outside cooled. Overall, this hotel was a great place to stay and the price was what I consider a good value for the 4 star service and comfort.

This is definitely a 4 star hotel, from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I stayed both in a basic room and a King spa room. The King Spa has a huge woorlepool tup in the bathroom that fits two people comfortably. The rooms are very clean and the bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept on in any hotel. A little expensive especially for the King Spa (over 300 a night) but definitely worth it.

The hotel itself was beautiful and well staffed and maintained. The rooms were somewhat small for a king suite but the bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in (including home!)The food was very good and we loved the Starbucks in the building! We'd return again. Location was perfect for shopping and sightseeing.

The pool is really huge and we were the only ones using the pool so it was really great. They tried to overcharge us for internet use, it said $4.99/day in the room booklet. It's a beautiful hotel and we didn't expect to see a water view. We were on 4th floor and the lake was right out our window, was a beautiful sun set.

"I recently stayed at the Marriott Spa Hotel in Groton and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mystic. The staff was unbelievably helpful, the room was gorgeous (overlooking a resevoir), and there's a Starbucks right in the lobby-- not too shabby. It's also an easy ten minute drive to Mystic seaport, twenty minutes from the casinos (and they have a shuttle that can take you directly there), and thirty minutes from the Rhode Island beaches. The hotel also has two excellent restaurants and an upscale- though pricey- spa."

Immediate attention by management when shortcomings detected. Room was not cleaned early morning but corrected once raised. We truly enjoyed our stay at this property and will return and recommend to friends visiting the area. From taking in the Red Door Spa to the phenomenal dinner at Octagon or grabbing a Starbucks as we headed out for our busy day all of our needs were met. Great getaway for a couple!

The front desk people were very helpful the concierge was very good and gave great advise the octogon resteraunt is incredible best steak I have ever had and great service. and the bed was the most comfortable ever the wife wants me to call the hotel and find out what kind of mattress it was so we can get one we both slept till 9:00am when we always are up by 5:00Am the doormen need to be a little more eager to helpas well as the valet other than that the room set up was a little odd but would highly recommend this hotel and we will be back again!

Loved the bedding, great coffee and eggs benedict! While attending a concert at Mohegan Sun my husband and I stayed at the Mystic Marriott. I was very impressed with the hotel bedding, cleanliness, and very friendly staff. The dining room had actually great coffee and and lovely breakfast buffet that was not your ordinary buffet!
