Overall upkeep is poor. Elevators had damaged floors, incorrect floor buttons, rooms were just OK.

I stayed at the hotel and was impressed. The hotel is only one mile out of the centre and a good base due to park & ride up the road.

Great staff and nice rooms. A little pricey. It was really a 3 star not a 4 star. Great people, place and hotel. I would recommend to anyone and go there again anytime.

It was refreshing compared to European accommodations. The restaurants were way over priced. Great location, clean & friendly staff. Comfortable bed & great shower!

resort - like no complaints This was a lovely, traditional resort setting. We had tea on the veranda overlooking the race track and it was beautiful. The rooms were very clean, bed was outstanding , and the location was on the edge of the chaotic city centre which suited us well.

Good standard rooms and friendly staff. Quiet location near the York Racecourse There was a large refurbishment going on we did not know about. No noise, but parking was restricted. The York Marriott is a comfortable hotel about 2 miles from the centre of town. Frequent buses stop near the entrance, and this is much easier than trying to park in York. The hotel has an indoor pool/spa. Breakfast was comprehensive, and it was just finishing a major refurbishment so should be even better when we next go.
