The Mariott Winston-Salem was very well decorated and comfy. The lobby was beautiful as well as the room. The valets were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we got exactly what we needed.

Location and restaurant. Our bathroom poor flushing of toilet, tub would not drain, very noisy in hallways at night, slamming doors, loud voices. Beautiful place, great location, friendly staff.

Hands down, the best hotel in the area. Definitely a first-class property in all respects.

We have stayed at this hotel twice and it is awesome! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and go beyond there duties to please you. The rooms are VERY clean, the bed is super comfy, Wireless Internet a plus they also have computers in the lobby that you can use for free to surf the net. We got free deluxe breakfast both times and it was room service! We ate dinner there once and it was okay but very expensive. Excellent hotel, it is a little pricey but well worth it!! "

We were looking for a nice place to stay in the downtown area and this Marriott was perfect in every way. It was very comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful and breakfast was outstanding. We would stay here again

Comfortable and convenient to venue. Elevators incredibly slow - no water in hotel for several hours.

The exercise room, comfort and cleanliness of the room. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Exercise room was well equipped (great uptown location).

The staff was professional, and friendly. And the hotel has a taste of opulence. A taste of affordable oppulence.

The hotel was clean; furnishings appeared new and friendly staff. Front desk employee would interrupt my check-in to wait on several different children paying for soda, candy, etc. A very enjoyable stay; clean and lovely decorated hotel.

The bedding was comfortable and the room was very clean. Bath & Body Works products are a plus. Wireless internet connection was spotty.

It was very clean, and the parking attendants were extremely courteous and helpful. Overall, the hotel was fantastic except the lighting in the bathroom was very dark.

Clean, friendly staff. One of the waitresses in the hotel did not measure up to their otherwise excellent standard of service.

Staff was VERY pleasant, warm, and welcoming. Great service. Can't think of anything. We were immediately welcomed with smiles and great service. I went with a couple friends for a wedding and we all were very pleased and would recommend this to anyone.

The cookies and apples at the front door. The water in the indoor pool was cold. The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was beautiful & the rooms recently renovated. The view from the 16th floor of the city was great. Make sure you see the Old town of Salem, just a few blocks away.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Parking situation was inconvenient and pricey. Valets were very quick and prompt though. I enjoyed my stay very much. Had a little difficulty with elevators and tv working properly occasionally but was not a big deal.

It was very clean, convenient with a warm, friendly staff. No alternative parking when street was closed for special event. We enjoyed our stay. My husband was attending an event at the convention center and I thoroughly enjoyed shopping and sight-seeing. Many interesting places and restaurants are within walking distance and short driving distances. We had a nice dinner with friends at the hotel restaurant. The food and service was excellent.

The staff met our every need. The pool was a bit on the cool side. The staff was perfect! The pool was a bit on the cool side considering how oldI am (my son enjoyed the temp), there was some trash in the pool area where the maintenance crew had done recent work (which we had to walk through). We enjoyed our stay.

The room had nice and clean furniture. It was in a good location. I did not like paying for parking across the street. This was a nice hotel in a good location. It had clean rooms with new, modern furniture and appliances.

Location and breakfast. Minor maintenance proles (quickly corrected). Great for a short stay. Southern hospitality is wonderful. Excellent breakfast at a (for a yankee) reasonable price.
