the hotel was great! nice location, right off the freeway. Staff was wonderful, check in was quick, they even remembered my name the next morning when I went up to the concierge lounge! I will definately stay here on my next visit to St Louis

Located in a quiet, upscale area. Surrounded by green hills and located close to highway exit to St. Louis. An extremely safe environment. Newly remodeled and has an excellent on-site dining room. Very safe for my mom and I traveling together.

Good location. Maid service. King bed was comfortable but very soft. We prefer a firmer mattress. Children enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. I would stay there again.

While we were there the service was average or less. No one seemed to care about getting the advertised fitness machines operating. The rooms were not kept very clean.

We were in town for a wedding, hotel was near the church. Location was great for us, but there were a couple receptions at the hotel which made parking difficult. Rooms were clean, staff friendly, nice pool and amenities.

My husband and I wanted a mini visit with his son and their family and St. Louis is midway, but we did not want to spend a fortune. We found an incredible rate on [...] ($58 plus tax) and chose St.Louis Marriot West. The trendy retro decor in the lobby areas and restaurant was impressive; it was very clean except when a large group left..noticed debris on the floor and lots of handprints on the revolving door the next day, but no real problems to complain of. We never ate in the restaurant there, because the room service breakfast menu seemed pricey ($13 for continental)though we DID take advantage of their new "Starbucks" serving area. It is only open for a couple of hours after dinner though, so I was disappointed there. The rooms were large and very comfortable, clean, great beds with feather bed toppers and lots of pillows. Our son's family had 4 in his room (including a baby bed) and they still did not seem cramped. Our rooms looked out over the LOVELY pool and lake area...a GREAT feature of this hotel! THe lake had a fountain, geese, and a nature/walking trail that circled it. There was also an indoor pool and hot tub, which we utilize a lot. The hot tub had tons of people in it both days and I did not have confidence that it was clean (some were very TINY people!) and there was not a lot of personnel oversight of the pools, but they were still great facilities overall. There were tons of towels by the pool, and also a hot sauna. We loved this part of town, and found that driving to nearby restaurants in Chesterfield was a breeze; this is what we did for all our meals. The closest fast food place is a McDonalds about 1.5-2 miles away, so expect to drive for fast food or restaurants, if you choose not to eat at the hotel. There is absolutely NOTHING near the hotel within walking distance as it is in the middle of a high-dollar commercial business district and on the edge of the property of Maryville University. If we go back to St. Louis to visit the kids we wi

The scenery of and around the hotel was beautiful, the entrabce to the hotel was wonderful and the staff and workers were very nice and accomodating. The only negative thing was the sencond day, they did not prepare enough buffet breakfast items for all the guests so we had to wait a decent amount of time. The rooms were clean, but average. The pool indoor and outdoor pool were a nice touch. Overall, the stay was great and I would stay again.

Needed a no-frills, low-key place to stay while attending a funeral. Because of a late flight and the TSA, I hadn't brought toothpaste or a razor (didn't want the hassle with my carry on). To my pleasant surprise, this hotel had free toothpaste packets and razors! I would recommend this hotel just for that!!

The bed was amazing. Can think of nothing. It was a gorgeous hotel and I have no complaints. Everything was clean and updated and we loved our stay there even if only for one night.

The St. Louis Marriot staff was the best. Very helpfull and friendly. I-64 was closed and they were very helpfull giving directions to get around the construction. The Hotel is about 20 miles out of St. Louis so if you are planning to do things in the downtown area, it is a little inconvienent. However it was close to the airport. The rooms were very comfortable and the common areas were definitly up to Marriot's standards.

Very clean and attractive, with a pretty view. Thin walls - we could hear our neighbors at times, although not bad enough to disrupt sleep. Clean, friendly, no-fuss place to stay. The location is a little far out for doing things in the center city, but the safety of the area and free parking help make up for it.

The Marriott in St. Lewis was pretty good. We only stayed for one night so we did not not get to experience to much. Rooms were clean and check in was very easy. We stayed in a Marriott in florida, but unfortunatly this one did not compare. Great value for the price.

Night shift manager wasn't friendly. We arrived late to the hotel because we went to a St. Louis Cardinals game. They had filled all the rooms even though we called and told them that we would be checking in late. They put up in a conference room with two pullout beds. The next morning the daytime manager was very friendly and said that he would refund me for two nights. Our room the next two nights was really nice, but then at checkout there were no record/remarks about what the night manager told us. We were told that they couldn't refund us because we went through Priceline. I am currently in the process of trying to get my refund.
