The hotel was fairly new and the lobby was gorgeous with flowing water and balconies, there are lots of restaurants within one block.

The staff is great. The rooms are very updated, clean and quiet. Location is great. Walking distance to University, and many places to eat. Hotel food is a little on the expensive side but yet to see a reasonable hotel kitchen. I plan on staying here many more times.

Superb service and excellent in every way. We would stay here again. The parking. You had to pay $11 to park in a parking structure across the street that entered from around the block. Very inconvenient. The lobby was beautiful with water features and glass elevators. Then the rooms were upscale, spacious, and very comfortable. The concierge and other employees were all very friendly and helpful to us. We loved our stay!

Stayed with my daughter for the University of Arizona orientation and the location was GREAT! We stayed on the Club Floor and the service was wonderful!

Location. Many restaurants within walking distance and close to university . Pay for parking in garage required because of campus location. Location is the key with this hotel, with its proximity to the university and also numerous local restaurants within two blocks. Rooms were spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom as well. Iron and ironing board also provided in the room. One person in our party said the coffee provided in the room was not very good.

excellent location; great service. University is steps away.

Close proximity to U of Arizona. Valet parking was $15 per day. Great location to visit student at U of Arizona. Very clean & friendly. Upscale feel / downside was parking $11 to park across street or $15 for valet parking.

We were checked in quickly, and we had the valet park the car since it only cost $5 more. The room was spotless. The drinks at the bar are overpriced, considering there are other bars within 1 minute's walk. The location could not be better for the U of A area as the hotel is practically on campus; 4th Avenue is just about 4 blocks away. The staff were all very courteous and helpful.

The location was close to University of Arizona.

The location was excellent for visiting the University of Arizona. The price through Orbitz for the quality of the hotel was also excellent. The hotel was clean, the bed and linens were extremely comfortable, and the room well appointed. In regard to a downside, the room had a limited view due to being on the 2nd floor and the staff swiped my card under the wrong account so I was temporarily double billed. One phone call after I returned home remedied the situation.

Modern decor with down comforter. No refrigerator in the room.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the University of Arizona. I would recommend parking in the lot right next to the hotel rather than valet as it is half the price and you can go in and out without waiting for car or tipping valet.

Proximity to Arizona campus More free weights. Very friendly, very clean, well done.

The Marriott University Hotel in Tucson Arizona was absolutely perfect for me. My daughter attends the University of Arizona and having the Marriott located right at the edge of campus, two blocks from her dorm, was ideal. The room was big, and more than comfortable. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were so inviting. I have never had a more cozy sleep in a hotel. And the linens!! My sheets and comforters at home are not as lush and soft. The room had a lounge chair, a desk and a large bathroom. The shower was always hot and forceful. It was absolutely lovely. It was a bit expensive, but worth every penny. When I had to check out I was disappointed that my stay was not going to be longer. And I highly recommend the brunch... complete with omelet and pancake chef... yummy! I give my stamp of approval to the Marriott University in Tucson and highly recommend it to everyone. Except that it is really hard to get a reservation during hot weekends like family weekend at the U of A, so I'm going to try to get my reservation early.

It has been remodeled. Staff misinformed about Wall Street Journal availability. Functional and convenient but not cozy.

The decor was pleasant. The hotel charged for wi-fi access. The hotel was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated. The pool was small and not the size I had expected for a resort hotel. Although we didn't eat at the hotel there were many good restaurants within walking distance.
