Business trip hotel was great location and very nice.

Nice hotel, easy to find, etc. Nice, but did not offer free breakfast as lower-star levels do.

The staff was exceptionally courteous and the services were very good. Location also excellent just across the street from a huge shopping mall with a variety of restaurants and shops. Airport pick up was very accommodating and reasonably prompt both for arrival and departure. Taxi service in Charleston is poor - long waiting times but if hotel van is not going to th airport they will very kindly transport you nearby destinations and will also offer to pick you up if available if you call and request. In hotel restaurant was also very satisfactory. Major complaint relates to internet service. A broadband connection is available in the room but there is a 10 per day charge. This was surprising as even Holiday Inns and others who charge less than a Marriott, these days provide WiFi or Cable connection without extra charges. Moreover, after paying the 10 the cable connection is rather slow. They do provide free use of computers in their business center but it is small and besides, if one needs to access and use his own files he can no do so on their computers. there is W IFI in the business center but if one accesses it he will only get access to the same broadband service as in the room and will be unable to access the internet without paying the 10 per day fee. This arrangement would discourage me from staying at the hotel again but I would not absolutely rule it out depending upon my need for internet access on a particular trip.

Could not find my reservation easily. Gave us wrong room, which was occupied.

Friendly and comfortable. Sorry to hear the hotel is pet friendly. Will go down fast. Very nice hotel. Some rooms are beginning to show wear but still very nice.

The service in the restaurant was HORRIFIBLE!! The waiter that I had was rude and very unattentive. There was a number to call for comments, but I could not reach anyone. Also there was no operator after 8 at night when I tried to scheulde a wake up call. ( 100 words is only the beginning of my thoughts)

Considering that there was a wedding party also at the hotel, it was amazingly quiet!

Convenient to highway, shopping, and good food. Bed sheets were soiled.

It was great except for a leaky faucet, but that could happen anywhere.

One of the nicest hotels in Charleston; second only to the Embassy Suites. You have to pay for parking and internet access was $13/day. This was a beautiful hotel and the rooms were clean and roomy. Parking was extra and so was the internet access. No wireless internet; only wired. Great hotel and the Whitewater restaurant was excellent.

My wife and I stay one night on our way just passing thru and loved it so much we returned for another two nights on our way back home! We loved it. The bed was so comfortable and the down comforter gave it more of the feeling of being at home rather than a hotel. Everything was wonderful, food was great, staff was very friendly and helpful.. And the mall was literally right across the street, a few steps, and woila! Loved it!

It disappointed me that the parking required an additional charge.

My experience was wonderful and the breakfast was great.

Excellent location. Withing walking distance to mall and civic center. Clerk tried to charge me $55.00 more on registration. She said it was the balance of the room rates. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and convenient to downtown Charleston. It is across the street from the Town Center and the Civic Center. Absolute best location if you are wanting access to downtown.

Very nice decor and location. The bed pillows were not to my liking.

I liked that the room was clean. I did not like that the bathroom did not have a venting system which caused the room to fill up with steam dripping off the ceiling after showering. I did not think that this hotel was high on my list. The hotel lobby needed to be more upscale. As for the room itself, it was just average.

Nice employees. Too many kids, couldn't even fit in the hot tub.

Very nice room. I don't like paying 9 bucks for parking overnight! A big turnoff.
