Hotel is in a great location, right on Orchard Road and very convenient. Rooms are tired and old, even the refurbished ones. I stayed in a Club room paying an outrageous price and got the smallest room I've ever seen with poor quality furnishing as they were extremely old. Extra charge for broadband. Construction is being done next door and across the street resulting in a heck of a lot of noise. Staff seems very indifferent.

i think this is the best hotel in south east asia. very clean hotel, wonderful staff, good facilities, and the location is fantastic. every hotel staff you pass by will smile and greet you and ask how was your day. a special thank to the house keeping people especially one lady in the 28 floor who was always smiling when ever you pass by her. also one lady who showed my room when i first checked in who was very nice and will not take a tip( this is my duty ).the only minus is the breakfast menue in the executive club was not good and the same for the four days i stayed there

Location, swimming pool and hotel quality. The hotel's location is great as well as the entire staff. Very nice restaurants and the cafe outside is the place to be seeing.

Good location for most business or tourist visitors. Tenth floor room was large, with everything you would expect from a 4 star. Internet speed was o.k., however a bit overpriced. Restaurants are a bit high, however many places close by to eat at. Hotel is clean. Staff is friendly. NOTE: There is construction near by at the time that runs 24 hours a day. Light sleepers could have a problem.

Great service and accommodated special requests. Size of rooms could be a bit bigger. Fantastic service, very nice rooms and an excellent location in the center of Singapore's business district. The second time we stayed it has become our home in Singapore.

Excellent location in the heart of the Orchard Road shopping district and right across street from Orchard Road MRT (subway) station. Rooms are modern, nicly furnished, very clean, but a little small. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and is highly recommended.

I stayed 2 nights in the Marriott in a 6th floor room. The room was quite small and the furniture quite old. The hotel has started refurbishing which might improve things. The staff was in general friendly except for reception staff who were quite cold. Prices at the restaurant were ludicrously high by Singapore standards.

Location and restaurants. Room is white in total which is makes me feel like I'm in a hospital. Good although very expensive. Next time I'll stay at Grand Hyatt which is next to Marriott.

Business trip stay based on local employees recommedation. Excellent choice. If spending time away from home, this is the place to do it. Great service, comfotable rooms, easy access to technology (EMail, etc.)

We've stayed there several times and the friendliness and attentiveness of all the staff is unmatched. The restaurant in the lobby had zero ambience. We always try and stay at a Marriott hotel when traveling because of the quality and consistency of service we've always received. The Marriott Singapore is one of the best. The rooms are well appointed, very comfortable, and spotless. The bathroom is lovely too and big enough that you get a separate shower stall (always a plus!). From check in until we left, the hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We even had a personal wheelchair waiting for our daughter upon returning from her surgery, such was the level of anticipation for our needs.

The hotel was located in a convenient part of Downtown Singapore. The staff was friendly and courteous. The restaurant prices were quite expensive. We chose to eat outside of the hotel. We arrived on an early flight from Chennai, India and arrived at the Marriott by 8:30 AM. Check-in is not until 12 noon. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. They did their best to get us into a room early- we were in our room by about 10:45 AM- which was wonderful. The staff was very helpful in helping us determine sight seeing options, travel options and even called a vegetarian restaurant for us to make a reservation just before closing. The rooms were spacious, clean and had lots of windows. The bathrooms were luxurious and the shower was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt a bit pampered.

The location itself is a destination; access to shopping, dinning was excellent and proximity to transit made other parts of the city easy to reach. They didn't have a gift shop from which to purchase travel incidentals. I loved the location of this hotel, in the middle of shopping, dinning, entertainment and close to public transportation. The rooms felt luxurious and the marble bathrooms were a dream.

The lobby was a great meeting place for people. The staffs were helpful and the room had gorgeous strawberries waiting for us. Parking is definitely inadequate. Guests staying should be able to stay in the parking structure free of charge. The amenities should be better. This hotel was in the best location-the biggest intersection in the city. It is great for business travelers as well as families. The concierge could have been more helpful giving directions for driving ourselves instead of telling us to take a taxi to get everywhere. The room was very nice and a good size.

I feel comfortable and the surroundings pleasant. The construction near the hotel is noisy and went on until almost 10pm on Saturday night. The Singapore Marriott is pleasant for both my children and me. The location is great and the staff is friendly and considerate.
