I loved the location of this Marriott. It was very close to BYU, the post office, grocery and restaurants. We were there to take my daughter to the Missionary Training Center to start her mission for our Church--The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and to go skiing. They gave us a roll-away bed for her and had it made and set up when we arrived. Lobby staff was wonderful and friendly. Unloaded our luggage and ski equipment, stored our skis the whole time and were completely responsive to all my extra requests--got us a small frig. for the room, extra towels, writing stationary, etc. Had fun making friends with all the Young Adults who work there. Wasn't crazy about the room decor/colors. Drab gold and tan, ugly pictures on the walls. Had a great view from window of the Wasatch Mountains! No free breakfast though which was a disappointment and the prices in the restaurant were very high. Only ate breakfast there once and no dinners. Food was excellent however! Worst feature was the parking garage! Driving a Suburban up the ramps and fitting into the spaces was a nightmare! In a compact car it would have been a cinch, but awful in our Burb. Would recommend hotel to others and might stay there again.

Comfortable bed free internet use. Toiletries were used. Bedside phone was out of order.

What you get from a Marriott is consistency of quality, cleanliness and comfort - everything you expect from a good hotel. While there was nothing exceptional, there were no major deficiencies either. This hotel was a very good 3 star hotel - a 3.5 star . The King Size room was as you would expect, plenty of room, decent bed, but just a few things. While the vanity alcove and walk-in closet space is good, the bathroom itself needs a serious update - more circa 1980. There was no standard plug for the hairdryer anywhere in the bathroom area, and certainly not by a mirror. Had to use a plug underneath the desk, which were already being used by the usual laptop and phone chargers that a traveller would normally carry. The breakfast was nice, not outstanding, but good decent food. They did have a chef making omelettes to order throughout the morning, which is good. The fitness centre is very limited and can only accommodate a handful of people at any one time. There were no drink cups by the water cooler when I was there. Overall, it was a pleasant stay - no major gaffes. I was able to get a good rate through this site, which was the main reason for selecting this hotel. But I doubt that I would have paid rack rate for it.

The hotel was centrally located to everything. The staff was friendly and willing to help at a moments notice. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and a great value. The rooms were spacious and clean. Room service and valet service were quick to respond. The beds were comfortable. J.C. From Henderson

This hotel was excellent. The staff is very polite and professional. The room was a good size and well decorated. The beds were excellent. I felt it was worth so much more than the price, an excellent value.

I was knowingly put in a room that the air conditioner didn't work. This took 2 hours to move me to another room. Clean but problems with room air took 2 hours to fix and after checking in late in the evening was not whatI wanted to deal with and I put order out for breakfast which was not pick up so my breakfast did not arrive on time not happy with hotel.

This is a decent place to stay. The rooms are clean and nice. Our room had a HUGE closet that we could use as a separate room for our portable baby crib. 3 elevators make getting to your room very convenient even during high traffic periods. We had a beautiful little view of Provo. Just a few nitpicky items. The doors could have been a little closer to the ground because you could easily hear people outside your hotel room while you were lying in bed. One of our drink glasses had lipstick on it when we received it from room service and we were given two complementary drinks to compensate us for it...even though we had ordered a pitcher which was forgotten. The room service menus had only about 1 page for breakfast and dessert options. The front desk forgot about our request to opt out of receiving the morning newspaper. The parking lines are not drawn clearly so it makes for some interesting parking situations if you use the parking structure.

From the moment of arrival at the hotel to the time of check out, everyone was extremely friendly, courteous, & efficent. My check-in was quick and smooth, the receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. I arrived early and there were no problems getting me right into my room which was very spacious and clean. I proceeded to the dining facility in the lobby and the service was very good and once again the people were extremely friendly. Later that night I used room service for my evening meal and the food was brought up in a timely manner and everything was hot and delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quite spacious. I had to check out early to get to a business meeting and they processed me without delay and once again were very helpful with directions, and very friendly. I wish all my hotel stays were as pleasant as this one was.I would highly recommend this Marriot to anyone who travels to Provo.

We were pleasantly surprised with the decor. Can't think of anything. We really needed a place that was restful and had good service. Both of these were met way beyond our expectations. We will definitely stay there on our next time through or visit to Provo.

we enjoyed our stay! we stayed at another hotel in provo that same week end and it had the same star rating and didn't compare! The rooms were clean, great mattress and pillows. Rooms were a good size and we would love to go back. I was a little nervous at first because of some of the reviews that were posted, but the Marriot did good! Thanks!

The quality of the bedding. They held a 100 dollar charge on our credit card. Nice hotel, but wasn't told about the hold on the card.

I had a great time at the Provo Marriott. I have also stayed at a lot of Marriott properties, and this one was great. The front desk staff was very accomodating, and asked me if I wanted to stay in one of there newly furnished concierge rooms. So, I paid the extra 10 and stayed in it. Everything was new, the bed was great, and I loved the new flat screen TV. Valerie in the Concierge lounge was great. I also had help with making future reservations from there in house reservation guy Cole. He set me up at a good rate for all my future stays. I will always go back to the Provo Marriott. You can tell they are trying to improve there hotel and service.

Bedding very high quality & comfy; spotless bathroom. Rotten climate control. Extremely hot. If you plan on going to hell, you can start getting used to it right here. The windows don't open and the heat is set so high that it makes sleep difficult. Staff acts totally helpless and passes the buck. But boy is it pretty and clean. Take a fan!

Friendly staff andhelpful. No free internet ($10/day!), no free breakfast. It's a large, clean andrather sterile hotel. The room felt very stuffy, and it was difficult to adjust temperature. They keep buildings too hot! The biggest disappointment was the extra charge of $10 a day for internet. Also, no breakfast! They charge me $1 for a local call that I never even tried to make. There are better places to stay in Provo.

It was clean and very nice. The hotel was classy. The pool wasn't warm and the hot tub was dirty. The hotel was very nice. The room was nice, the staff was pleasant without being annoying. I was happy with everything. My wife and daughter were unhappy with the pool and the hot tub. The pool was cold and the hot tub was dirty.

"I agree that the Provo Marriott is not up to Marriott standards. I always stay at Marriotts, the front desk staff was not accomodating at all, and acted like they were doing me a favor to have a room."

Very nice hotel. Very nice hotel in the center of town. Friendly staff, have stayed there many times. It is a Marriott at less than Courtyard or Fairfield prices. Excellent!
