great location, close to everything

Good location. Not as clean as expected, public transportation very competitive. The room should have been cleaner. Most of the vertical surfaces (walls, mirrors, side of tub, etc.) Overlooked by cleaning staff. Public transportation is very difficult to find, very competitive.

Although this hotel was advertised as a 3-star establishment, I would not say it was any better than 2-star hotels I have stayed at. The hotel not having parking was inconvenient but understandable for a downtown location. However, the room not having a hair dryer or wireless Internet was harder to comprehend. Since I have stayed at 2-star establishments that had both, I arrived expecting the same and more from this hotel. Needless to say, we had to deal with wet hair longer than we expected, and Internet was limited to a desk where I was told I could hook up my computer to the cable in the wall. I like to work on my laptop from the comfort of bed, and this was not possible with no wireless access. I give it 7/10 all around for a high level of cleanliness, comfy beds and a nice lobby and elevators. As far as the room itself, it was just average, exhibiting nothing 'upscale' whatsoever.

the hotel was convienent to all of the major roadways. the room itself was comfortable.

Huge clean quiet room On the edge of the business district. Had to walk a bit. Excellent hotel room. I did not spend much time at the hotel other than to sleep. The public spaces were clean and attractive. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Recently I stayed here while attending the Pens game across the street. For the price I recieved I could not ask for a better place

I stayed there at a very hectic weekend. Not only was Bon Jovi performing at the arena but the crowds were in full force being it was St Patrick's day weekend too. So checkin and getting on the elevators was something else. We didn't get in the restaurant or the lounge because of the crowds. Otherwise, our room was fantastic and the short walk to the concert was well worth it.

Great location, friendly staff! Overall dirty and no full size van parking in garage, forced to use Valet!

My stay at the Mariott Pittsburgh City Center was more enjoyable than most. The exercise room contained several pieces of machinery and the pool was very clean. The rooms were adequate size, quiet and I was grateful for the internet connections availability without cost. There were several places you could walk if you wanted to get outdoors for a while. Although I did not have the opportunity to eat in this hotel, I understand the food was very good. I would definitely stay there again.

the marriott city center is pittsburgh was perfect for what my trip entailed...my only problem was the price...i thought it was a bit steep and when i revisit pittsburgh i will check out this hotel but may opt for something less expensive..there are several hotels in the area that are cheaper...

Location, decor, ambiance. I was told - as per my early request - that I'd have two double beds, found out that there were doubles available, but was denied.

Parking garage attached to facility was ideal for downtown Pittsburgh. Even better was the free shuttle which drove us to our restaurant! We were visiting colleges great trip!

Location, amenities, size of room. They upgraded us for free! Paying for parking when you are staying at the hotel Nice place; great although not right in the middle of most downtown attractions, shuttle service is very nice. Right across the street from Mellon Arena if attending something there. We enjoyed out stay very much!

The bed and the easy walk to and from Station Square. Only two towels in the bathroom. An overall great accommodation. The bed and bedding itself is luxurious and amazing. It was a quick, easy, and safe walk over a bridge from Station Square back to our hotel. I love the city and the hotel is right next to the Penguin's arena.

I liked the location. Didn't like having to pay for parking when you already pay to stay at facility. Great location. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spacious. Hotel bar and restaurant was nice. Shuttle services were very nice. Overall, the hotel is nice and a great place to stay in downtown Pittsburgh.

The bed was comfy. This is a great location as it is right in the downtown area. The staff will even drive you to the bus station. The area seemed safe.

The room itself was spacious and clean. The bathroom was absolutely tiny and you could not close the drapes to close out the light.
