Very nice hotel in a great area! One block to the train (Nordfriedhof station) and a grocery store, delicious bakery, Apotheke right around the hotel! Highly recommend (and get the 3 day visitor pass for the train)! Champions restaurant is great when you've eaten all of the German food you can stand and want a good old cheeseburger and fries!

This was ourfirst visit to Munich, but we had no problem finding our way around. The locals were very helpful! Even though the hotel is away from the main centre, it is easy to access using the very efficient (and cheap) train system. One point definitely worth noting is that if you are in a group of 5. you can get a group ticket which covers travel to the airport or anywhere else in the Munich area for 18 euros. Munich zoo is also well worth a visit, even at this time of year. As for the hotel, it was everything you expect from a Marriott. Good food, facilities and friendly efficient staff.

The entire staff is wonderful. The sports bar has the best hired help in Munich!!!!! Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Would recommend to all. Try it....you will like it!

Nice bath tub, large room, view of treed courtyard. Too hot even when air conditioner was at coldest setting! Not downtown but very near Metro (which was confusing to get tickets to)Quiet area, nearby excellent bakery, big windows that open! Internet was expensive if you just wanted to check e mail on your own computer.

The Munich Marriott is a typical Marriott with comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay here and it was perfect for a young couple such as ourselves. The hotel is near a U Bahn stop which makes it perfect for getting around the city with ease. We would stay here again.

Very clean, good location, out of the core but near subway and groceries. Very much a business travelers hotel, not good for kids. Nice hotel overall, but things like parking and internet access (20 Euro a day for internet) were too expensive considering the location.

The Marriott Munich is for Americans who wish to be in a foreign country but have an American type hotel...large rooms, English-speaking staff, English newpapers. Yet, this hotel attracts guests from all over so the clientel is not just Americans. Convenient location with an underground stop within walking distance. I did feel it attracted more business customers than tourists. Would definitely stay again.

It was very nice and the hotel staffwas very friendly. The shower could be better. The check-in was very good. We used the swimming pool at two times and the location was very good. The check-out was very good, too and it was a really good vacation in Munich.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Location is convenient to public transportation. Very comfy room. Parking is free on the street, but hard to find. The attached garage is expensive at 22euro/night. This hotel is very nice. Great location at the northeastern edge of the city. It is convenient to the airport, Olympic park, and a U-Bahn line is only a couple of blocks away. The staff was all very nice, very helpful, and all spoke fluent English. The concierge was especially helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The neighborhood is also very nice and quiet. The only complaint is that free parking is very limited on the street and the attached garage is 22euro/night. However, parking is scare and expensive in Munich in general.
