Within easy walking distance of the Crown Casino and Melbourne Museum is the Marriott Hotel. Conveniently situated in Melbourne’s CBD (City Center) it is in the midst of the busy shopping, entertainment and dining areas as well.
The Marriott Hotel is located at the corner of Exhibition and Lonsdale Streets and is 14 miles from the airport.
There are a variety of rooms available in the hotel and all provide guests with bottled water, beverage centers, luxury bedding and linens, personal safes, mini bars, satellite television, high-speed Internet access and separate living and sleeping areas.

The Melbourne Marriott is one of the best places to stay in Melbourne. Location is great with only a few minutes walk to the city and perhaps 10 minutes to the Casino. The rooms are large enough to ensure you are comfortable and the service is great. You always know you are in a great place when the staff are too helpful, the bed is very comfortable and the food and atmosphere makes you want to stay in rather than head out. I have stayed here several times and will continue to come back.

Great location. Spacious room with separate area with sofa/chair. The cost of the internet. Great hotel for the leisure traveler. Our room was a great size. Besides having a separate closet area, there was a distinct area for watching TV with a sofa, chair and coffee table. Our room was kept impeccably clean by the housekeeping staff.

Central location. Small pool. The hotel is has a good location - a short walk to trams/buses and local attractions and business areas. As always at a Marriott, the staff was professional and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

The staff, the champagne upon arrival, the location. The carpet was dirtyin both rooms that we stayed in on two different occasions. The staff was amazing. They remembered us from a month previous when we visited. At 1 AMthe girl at the front desk went to my car to locate a bag I forgot to bring up to the room. She did it with graciousness.

The staff was very accommodating to every single request. Phone rates are really expensive. Besides the phone rates, the hotel was excellent.

Location. Old, chipped bath. Charged twice. Hotel is a basic 4 star that really only meets a 3.5 star standard. The rooms were ok but strangely laid out and the bathroom had been renovated but the bathtub had not been replaced and was old and chipped.

Service was amazing, given a bottle of wine on 5th night. Nothing! After traveling all across Australia, it was so nice to stay in such luxury in Melbourne. We received champagne at check in and a bottle of wine for the two of us on our 5th night. The valet always had our car ready and the concierge and room service was great. I felt much taken care of and was very happy with my stay. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

The location is a bit far by within walking distance to everything. Outdated shower system. This Marriott is about average. The lobby is a bit tiny and there is only one restaurant. The location is right by China town and is within walking distance to the lively Bourke Street. The room is average size and clean. However, the shower/faucet is kind of outdated and inconvenient to use. My kids had hard time to turn off the faucet completely.

Nothing. It was freezing cold, no heat at all, the coldest room I was ever in. The restaurant workers were the rudest, slowest, and worse of any at any place I was ever at. Never ever has a hotel experience been that bad.

Staff was extremely professional and helpful. The beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. This hotel is quite beautiful from the outside. The rooms were good, but nothing special. The amenities were quite good. It had a heated salt water pool and spa and also a gym. If it were not for the beds we would have given a much higher score, but they were truly uncomfortable.

Staff was exceptional - desk, bell, housekeeping, & bar Nothing I can think of. Experienced outstanding service here - help was friendly and eager to assist. Information provided by the staff was complete, and when I sought services and dining outside the hotel, the staff provided me with several accurate options very willingly. Outstanding stay.
