Date of Stay:
June, 2009
Only needed this hotel for one night. Found the hotel very quiet and easy to get to my bussiness meeting. The beds were very cofortable. Everyone in the hotel was very nice.

The front desk staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The valet parking was not good or sharp at all.

This hotel was booked because it was near my conference at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The university and entire medical complex are huge and extend several blocks. The area looks new and is very well kept. We loved walking along the tree lined streets of Little Italy, only three blocks away. Pompeii, Rosebud and Franscesca's are great restaurants. Hotel staff were extremely accomodating--front desk staff gave us information about a wide variety of places for wine and Chicago places to see. The bartender let us borrow a wine opener we used for an after meeting gathering. The shuttle worked well and was free. On a busy weekend we needed a cab to go to Union Station. The shuttle driver thought it might take too long to get a cab, so he drove us all the way downtown himself. Great service!

Nice hotel with good proximity to the United Center - but don't count on their shuttle service. Was stranded for over 2 hrs at the United Center waiting for their shuttle service only to be told that their shuttle ends at 10:30 p.m. Why bother?!

The hotel was nice, but the location wasn't all that great. It was a cab ride to anywhere in downtown Chicago. Next time I would stay in downtown Chicago.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel with a bus stop directly out front. The hotels free shuttle was helpful also. Housekeeping was loud early in AM, no room service late, couldn't get a fork to eat a salad, ate with fingers. The view of the dumpster was a turnoff. The entire staff was awesome, very nice and eager to please. Room was clean and spacious with a fridge, a big plus a microwave would of been nice though.I would definitely stay here again ifI stay in Chicago again. Tell them a big thank you.

Excellent service and assistance from all staff. Nothing. Great location with many transportation options. Free shuttle to many locations. Excellent on-site restaurant.

It still had the new room smell. It seemed to be in a safe place. The train was only 3 blocks away and easy to find. I did not care for no complementary breakfast or any restaurants close by. We went to Chicago to see USA soccer game. We only stayed one night. It is a nice hotel that has just finished being remodeled. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the train system. There is a lot of room and outlets for a anyone traveling business wise. I would stay here again if I get the same price line price.

Location was blocks from subway with shuttle service. Breakfast was expensive. Overall met expectations. Location was good because of shuttle service but also easy walk to subway downtown. Room was spacious but overlooked the dumpster.

The price. The location. This is a fine hotel for business travelers who need to be near the Medical Center. But it is not a good location for families traveling as tourists.

clean clean clean - very important It was very clean and that is of utmost importance to me. The hotel was located in a nice area. I felt safe there. It was close to the heart of Chicago. It was smoke-free which I really appreciate. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If I'm in Chicago in the future I will definitely try to book there again.

The front desk personnel were great. Location, attitude of the bar tender, not good housekeeping service, parking was way overpriced for that location. Front desk clerks were very helpfully and nice. The bartender had an attitude with me and my friend but was nice to everyone else. The parking charge was very expensive for that location which was not in downtown. The housekeeping didn't do a good job in my room. I was double charged for my parking on my check out paperwork and went to the front desk to check out and if I didn't say anything they would have accepted all the monies including the double charge.

Friendly & helpful staff, spacious room. Away from downtown attractions. My husband and I were traveling with our young son, visiting my brother and the city of Chicago in general. We liked this hotel very much, even though it wasn't downtown. We got to explore a new area of the city around the hotel, and it was only two blocks from an el station, so we got around just fine. There were also cabs at all hours of the day, and we avoided all the bustling downtown traffic. I would stay here again, as our king-bed room was very clean and spacious.
