We were met at the front entrance of the New York Marriott Marquis where they book our bags from the Carmel Limo Service vehicle. They checked us right in at 11:20 am with a ezcellent room on the 35th floor with a breath taking view of time square below. They full filled our every need. The room was roomy and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. L Gann

The hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was amazing and the fact that the Marquis theater was in the hotel was a bonus when we booked our Broadway show. The only disappointment was that booth that sold Broadway tickets in the lobby. They quoted $169 for tickets that I was later able to secure on-line for $71. I wish that the hotel would look for the best deal for its clients (I heard that other concierges had done this for their clients at a neighboring hotel).

Location. Room size, great staff, not one complaint. Great hotel in a great location, especially if you are wanting to see plays.

The hotel could not have been better in any way. Check in was quick, with extremely polite staff. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had our two teenagers with us in the room and there was plenty of space for all of us and our belongings . The lounge and suhi bar area were stunning to look at as well as enjoyable to utilize. The View restaurant was nice for dinner. Fixed price meal, great service, and relaxing as they did not try to rush us through dinner and out of our table. The location can not be beat. Times square, broadway shows, easy access to anything you could need. We will stay there again next tme we are in NYC>

The hotel was at a pretty good location, but it was loud, crowded, and to simply take the elevator it took you about 20 minutes. But then again its New York what can you expect. It was also not extremely clean as other hotels I have stayed at. However, it is way better compare to others in New York. The location is very good, and it is a nice hotel.

I searched and searched for a reasonable hotel in NYC and found the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. We really wanted to stay in Times Square so this had the best of both worlds. It's a great hotel, I was surprised at what a lovely and clean hotel it was. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The bar's a bit odd but who hangs out in a bar on vacation. We had a 5th floor room with a view on Times Square with a sofa and king size bed. I loved it and I'm really really picky about my hotels, they have to be clean and fairly modern.

Went to two Broadway shows (loved Wicked), Empire State bldg, Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, all the typical sites. We got 48 hr passes for the hop on hop off buses and that was reasonably priced and we went on a couple of excellent tours. The hotel was great - very friendly and accomodating. The rooms were sound proofed quite well and noise was not a problem, even directly on Times Sq. Very convenient to theatre district, subways, restaurants. Times Square is chaotic so be prepared! But lots of fun!

It was within a block of all three theaters we went to. They charge for room internet connection. It is a wonderfully convenient hotel for anyone who wants to see New York but whose main interest is theater. The lack of a traditional entrance and lobby make the hotel seem somewhat cold, but the rooms are comfortable, and the fitness center is excellent.

Admittedly a little more expensive, but well worth every dollar. Our family of 4 stayed for a quick theatre and NYC getaway. It was a fantastic location, quick walk to nearly all of the Broadway theatres; property is clean, bright, feels up to date, and is always hopping with excitement in a positive, thriving big city kind of way -- even riding the elevators was exciting; great bakery and breakfast spot right across the street. Would absolutely stay again!

Location is superb. Rooms were large for NYC. Internet was unusable. The Marriott Marquis is a fine hotel, but if you're traveling on business you would expect a hotel to have decent internet access. Particularly if they're charging $17.00 / day. I could not even log in to the Google home page. It was pathetic.

This was my first trip to NYC and so obviously, I wanted my hotel to be in the best location. YES, times square does get very very busy and YES it is FULL of toursists but that's good for people like us who want to check out what NY is all about right? And the hotel was very very quiet and relaxing. I had no problem sleeping at night. This was my first time at marriot marquis but my friend had previously stayed at this hotel. She was the one who wanted me to book this hotel. She told me that the location is great - she was right. You just step out of the hotel and BAM you're right there in times sqaure. What more can you expect from a hotel? Other people travel all the way from upper or downtown to come to times sqaure, but we could stay there as long as we want !! We stayed on the 37th floor - you can specially request to marriot whether you want a high/low floor, whether you want your room to be next to the elevator, etc. I requested a high floor and we got the 37th floor. The view from the window was amazing. Those of you who are scared of heights be aware because the elevator moves at a super fast speed. Also there is the famous "The View" lounge on the top floor. The lounge/restaurant spins slowly and shows us the view of manhattan - I loved the atmosphere. Hotel guests get the 7 dollar cover charge waived. The only problem I had was the shower water pressure - pressure was too low. My friend told me that her previous room also had the same pressure so I couldn't complain. Would stay here again!!!

The hotel was great. Great location right in the middle of Times Square, close to subway, walking distance of many of the tourist locations. The staff was friendly, no wait on the elevators. Room was clean and good size. I loved my first trip to NY and would stay at the Marquis again. TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT-Wow what an experience

My family and I stayed at the Marriott Marquis for the second time in three months. Plans had to be changed and they were very accommodating. Room was clean on a snowy/wet weekend. Location was wonderful and the staff was very hlepful in all respects. Bags were taken care of efficiently, check in and out was fast and courteous. Will definitely stay here again. Great location to do midtown and Broadway theater district.

If you enjoy lots of people and bright lights, there isn't a hotel closer to the action than the Marriot Marquis. Their staff is always courteous and helpful. Great hotel for the money.
